COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Lager, the Brewery's flagship label, is New York's "hometown" beer, brewed to a pre-Prohibition recipe that dates back to the days when Brooklyn was the brewing capital of the East Coast. Brooklyn Lager has won numerous awards. Wrote Michael Jackson in the Simon & Schuster Pocket Guide to Beer: "The dry-hopped, fresh, flowery, firm, flavourful, Brooklyn Lager **-*** started well, in 1988, and has gained in character since."

Light amber color, with modest head. More sour than bitter. IMO, less flavor than Boston Lager.

Can. Dark gold/copper color pour, good average size head and a light malt/hop aroma. Flavor is slightly sweet artisinal wildflower honey, light malt backbone and crisp and dry on the aftertaste. This beer is what all lagers should aspire to.

A - Bready malt with some citrus A - Golden amber with thick white head T - Nice light sweetness with dry, bitter finish P - Medium body with soft carbonation O - This is a realy good lager and definitely bere from the brewery that has wowed me

Overall a very nice beer. Golden brown with a white head. Very smooth. It’s my first time in new york, so I had to try something that a new york name on it. Very pleasant beer.

An excellent American lager in the pre-Prohibition style. Pours a bright golden with a robust white head. Aroma is bread dough and pale malt. Taste is sweet pale malt with breadiness and earthiness. Very refreshing in the old style.

12 oz bottle. Pours clear golden with a white head. Honey and herbal, grassy hop aromas. Grassy hop flavor, honey, biscuit, caramel hint, orange citrus. Pretty well made, nice flavors. I like it.

Pours dark golden with a white head. Aroma is caramel and hops. Flavor is caramel with lots of earthy hops, and a dry lingering finish.

Bottle from my bro after returning from NYC. Great amber appearance; tan head that lasts and leaves lacing. Nice fruity/flowery aroma. Starts off well, nice dark malty flavour and perfect hops in the finish. Great balance. Overall a excellent beer, one of my favourites.
