3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
An amber coloured beer with a slightly off-white head. The aroma is of biscuity malts and fruity hops. The taste has a biscuit-like sweetness, which is offset by notes of lime and mild grapefruit. Also hints of pine resin and a very slight soapiness. Very dry finish. A good Vienna-style lager dominated by citrusy hop flavours.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Slight hoppy aroma. Nice dark golden colour. Slight bitter flavour. Maybe Iíve been spoilt by all of the super flavoursome American IPAs and craft stouts that Iíve been drinking lately.....but this just doesnít cut it for me. Even this lovingly made Brooklyn Lager cannot convince me that lagers are worth going anywhere near. Why would I drink this when I can drink a super hoppy IPA or sweet malty stout/porter? Sorry lager, itís not you, itís me lol.

This lager poured a medium amber colour with an off white, frothy head. A little lacing. Scents include lite spruce hops, cereal, dough and citrus. First sip was smooth with medium carbonation and a nice malt flavour. Other flavours of lemon citrus, bread and cereal. Light hop flavour with citrus lingering on the palette.
