Bottle to pint mug. Pours a cloudy orange / brown. Sparse head, and medium lacing. Good lager.
3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 gramity (520) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 12, 2011
Appearance is pale brown with great clarity. Little carbonation visible. A thick 1 inch head developed with minor lacing. Head retention is good.
The aroma is of pungent American hops that are slightly toasted and nutty.
The taste is crisp and clean with a good mouthfeel. Quite carbonated in the mouth.
Initial flavors are of mild malt that give way to dominating bold hops. Bitterness is lingering and satisfying.
Excellent beer and strongly recommended.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 prawlie (474) - Berkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 11, 2011
355 mL bottle from Noble Green Wines poured into a Karmeliet glass. Dark orange lager with a well formed head. Smells nice, pleasantly hopped. This is pleasant, and not like the lagers I’m used to in Europe. I’d be quite happy to have this again, but it might be too dry to have a few pints of.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 czar (1053) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 5, 2011
Pours amber-copper with a floral and big head. Fresh bread crust, big and malty with a caramel malt edge. Very fresh, floral and citrusy indeed! Very nice lager.

Poured from my home tap, the appearance is a deep yellow-amber color and a thick, creamy off-white head. The aroma and flavor are hop-forward, with prominent notes of grapefruit and grass, but there is also a substantial caramel malt backbone. The mouthfeel also seemed off-style, with a much more resinous texture and little of the crispness I expected (and desired) from a lager. Overall, it was different, interesting, and quite unexpected, but it was just too far from what I was looking for in a good lager.

Excellent crisp, malt and hops. Good bitterness in the finish. Pours a dark amber, not much head in from the bottle. Very pleasant and easy to drink.
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 rjplumer (254) - Providence, Rhode Island, USA - DEC 28, 2010
Has a nice fruity aroma that reminds me of an IPA. Has a nice deep amber color with about a one finger head that laces nicely. Has a int of hops with bitter bite that fades quickly. The taste seems intimating at first but then seems to mellow. Carbonation has a nice zing to it. Not a bad beer overall that seems to have a nice balance to it. I’m not sure if I’d buy it again but I would refuse one if offered.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 msojka (411) - New Jersey, USA - DEC 21, 2010
Pour is a clear golden color with a small white head. Nose is rather hoppy. Taste is not of the nose, and is rather refreshing instead of bitter.
