Brooklyn Lager, the Brewery's flagship label, is New York's "hometown" beer, brewed to a pre-Prohibition recipe that dates back to the days when Brooklyn was the brewing capital of the East Coast. Brooklyn Lager has won numerous awards. Wrote Michael Jackson in the Simon & Schuster Pocket Guide to Beer: "The dry-hopped, fresh, flowery, firm, flavourful, Brooklyn Lager **-*** started well, in 1988, and has gained in character since."

It is a nice lager. The color is copper typical than a pale ale and the hop is relatively strong for a amber vienna. The foam is weak and the sensation in mouth is nice.

Bottiglia da 0,355.schiuma scarna e poco persistente. Carbonatura appena eccessiva. Colore ambrato. Aroma penetrante e durevolmente aspro con forti sentori di arancio. Gusto leggermente affumicato e legnoso. Finale lungo ed amaro. Consiglio 6/10

Helder amberkleurig bier met witte snelzakkende schuimkraag. Mout en hop in de neus. Smaak is bitterder dan verwacht. Licht mondgevoel met droge afdronk en bitterige nasmaak.

Every medium except for from a can somehow. This is my favorite beer though, my go to, probably my most consumed and purchased over the time I’ve been drinking beer so far. Very attractive amber/dark gold body, creamy head, crisp and clean taste, good balance of caramel, roastiness, and floral hops. Much more colorful and flavorful and just all around way better tasting than most American lagers, especially the macros and standards. Fantastic.

Consistently competent. Brooklyn Lager is a mainstay for the fridge and rarely disappoints when you want a no fuss, honestly decent beer. Hopp y enough to be noticable without taking itself too seriously, Love the nutty malts and the slight citrus finish. Not a big hitter, but that’s why I like it. It’s basic and genuinely good for it.

Bottle. Slightly cloudy orange with thin white head. Not much for aroma, only some floral and malty notes. Medium body and medium-high carb. Fruity and slightly sweet with crisp finish. Very enjoyable lager.

12/30/15 - Chicago (Bottle poured into glass) Golden pour with a generous white foam head and mild carbonation.Aromas of grass and hops. Carmel malt taste, very smooth and pleasant feel and easy going down. Overall very good beer.

Excellente lager houblonnée et superbement aromatique.Corps médium présent, belle robe ambrée limpide, arômes d’agrumes et de fruits jaunes. Sympa.

Not sure how I’ve never rated this. Tap at Project Parlor, Brooklyn. Pours amber with a big frothy head. Aroma is citrus, and nice sort of German malts. Flavor is similar, great balance between malts and hops actually despite that cliché. It’s good. Years ago, I loved this and then realized it wasn’t great but it’s a solid beer. As far as a staple goes, much less a lager, it’s good. I still dig it. It’s light, it’s very easy drinking.
