COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Lager, the Brewery's flagship label, is New York's "hometown" beer, brewed to a pre-Prohibition recipe that dates back to the days when Brooklyn was the brewing capital of the East Coast. Brooklyn Lager has won numerous awards. Wrote Michael Jackson in the Simon & Schuster Pocket Guide to Beer: "The dry-hopped, fresh, flowery, firm, flavourful, Brooklyn Lager **-*** started well, in 1988, and has gained in character since."

Pizza place in Brooklyn. Good beer - nice hops, poured an orangy color with nice white head. floral and citrus notes on the palate.

Dry tasting lager, but with a sweetness to it, although it is nothing special.

Just run of the still stuff with no outstanding characteristics. I had hopes for something more from the Brooklyn Brewery based on their other fine offerings.

Nearly taste like a brown sugared sweet potato, very slight sharpness. Just the right amount of weight in its mouth feel

Bottle. Clear amber with a light white head. Fruit and malt aroma. Flavour is sweet, creamy malt with some bitter hops that add balance. This is a touch above most ’lagers’ and is very drinkable.

Very smooth tasting lager with a rich ale like quality, a nice surprise and a beer I’d have again

Bottle @ HOme. Pours amber with a white head. Aroma of malt, sweet fruity hops, citruss. Taste is malt, oranges, melon, citrussly hops. Medium body, lively carbonation. Nice lager. 041211
