3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Jmichael (640) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - AUG 11, 2009
heavier body than a lager may generally represent, good full palate, and fluffy mouthfeel. mild flavor but good. I grabbed to have for my fishing trip, wanted a good lager out of the can and it fit the bill rather well. But the best beer (to digress) to have on a boat in the middle of a lake in the middle of nowhere canada, is a bell’s two hearted, bottle. Damn perfect time to have that beer.
3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 CUJO (383) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - AUG 7, 2009
Bottle: pint glass: From Brooklyn, drinking a Brooklyn, in Brooklyn....nice. Pours a dark amber, light brown, clear. Pour creates nice bubbles leaving a full finger off-white head. The nose is of raosted malts, very nice and medium. The taste is full doy, yet thin enough to drink quickly. Again the roasted malts come through, with an even blend of hops. Very well balanced, very drinkable. Great brew.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 brewslurp (15) - SWITZERLAND - AUG 6, 2009
Brought 6 pack back from NYC. Amber color with nice white head. Head stays all the way down with good lacing. Nice sweet malt aroma with floral hops. Very nice balanced taste between malt and hops. Crisp, a little dry and fruity. Fuller bodied than most lagers. Extremely drinkable. Great beer.
4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 Craybees (18) - New York, USA - AUG 5, 2009
Pretty excellent, all around. Well-balanced as one could ask for, with just the right hop profile and level of maltiness. The nose and appearance are just about perfect.

12oz bottle into a phone. Obvious fruity and floral hops accent the malt well. Not bad!
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 turboespresso (199) - Port Moody, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 4, 2009
Bottle. Clear orangey-brown looking beer. Head does not last long. Faint hop aroma. Malt is nice, a little sweet and a little toasty. Nice medium hop bitterness. Very easy to drink. A lager that I like more than most ales!
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 williamherbert (1041) - Syracuse, New York, USA - AUG 3, 2009
A color of clear and light orange. Really excellent color for a lager. Head goes away almost immediately, but leaves some nice icy lace. It’s how lagers should always look! The aroma gives a nice grassy hop over some decent pale-ish barley. Aromas are mild but refreshing. A spring-y aroma. The taste gives more grassy hop flavor, which is such a welcome element. There is mild chlorine from the grassy hop but it’s not intrusive or unpleasant. The feel is a fizzy, bubbly mouthfeel. Lager-dry, but good. This is one terrific, hoppy lager with good body and lots of character. Grassy and malty both.
