COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Lager, the Brewery's flagship label, is New York's "hometown" beer, brewed to a pre-Prohibition recipe that dates back to the days when Brooklyn was the brewing capital of the East Coast. Brooklyn Lager has won numerous awards. Wrote Michael Jackson in the Simon & Schuster Pocket Guide to Beer: "The dry-hopped, fresh, flowery, firm, flavourful, Brooklyn Lager **-*** started well, in 1988, and has gained in character since."

Silvan7 (685) - Samarate, ITALY - JUN 18, 2014
Bottle @ home .

Aroma: Toasty malts, but with some noticeable butter, some light floral hop character as well. Appearance: Light copper, mostly clear pour with a foamy bone head that settles into a bubbly skin. Flavor: Not as buttery as the nose; toasty malts prevail, but there’s some light floral character and a touch of nuttiness toward the finish. Palate: Light body, slick texture, very soft carbonation, bittersweet finish. Overall: Surprisingly flawed for the high ratings. Maybe just got an off can.

Light amber. Clear. Minimal head. Hoppy & malty. Tastes like a pale ale. Good for a lager.
