COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Lager, the Brewery's flagship label, is New York's "hometown" beer, brewed to a pre-Prohibition recipe that dates back to the days when Brooklyn was the brewing capital of the East Coast. Brooklyn Lager has won numerous awards. Wrote Michael Jackson in the Simon & Schuster Pocket Guide to Beer: "The dry-hopped, fresh, flowery, firm, flavourful, Brooklyn Lager **-*** started well, in 1988, and has gained in character since."

Amber in color, with a nice citrusy and slight sweet honey taste. The afertaste is slightly bitter, just right. The head was white and short lasting. Very little lacing. I enjoyed this beer a lot. Can’t wait to taste their other brews.

Nice amber color with rather good head. Has flowers and citrus, or cascade, on nose. Taste has also citrus, with some bready malt combining to notes of caramel and slightly piney to herbal hops. Good, crisp bitter ending. Very good for vienna, like pale-ale with lager yeast. refreshing.

This is a decent beer, but not worth the price I paid. It has a light amber color, sweet aroma, and a light crisp taste. It has a sweet taste on the front of the tongue, a clean bite in the finish, and no aftertaste to speak of. It’s a decent beer, but nothing to write home about.

Bottle. Large, lasting head with excellent lacing. Flowery hop aroma. Smooth & light on the palate. Crisp, mild hop bite with a hint of malt on the backend. A very good session beer!

Crisp and refreshing, this is a good everyday beer. Not the most spectacular looking in the glass, but it has a nice taste of the hops without being real bitter and dry.
