3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Vintage Cellar. Medium dark amber color with a large frothy beige head. Aromas of malt and lightly spicey hop. Near medium body with near creamy carbonation. Flavor is light caramel, and a touch of citrus sour - which might be the hop. It doesn’t finish all that bitter, but it is well balanced. It’s a very tasty drink.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Clear dark orange color, small white head. Not a very nice smell. Very standard and actually pretty poor, expected better from this brewery.

UPDATED: MAR 23, 2009 Softly sweet, your nose will be begging for more. Unfortunately, once you let it onto your tongue your mouth will be begging for more too! Very american, with a spicy sweet fruitiness. A pure clean taste - you know it’s good for you!

UPDATED: JUL 15, 2003 Clear amber with medium of-white head. The aroma is sweet, floral, some bready. Taste is medium sweet, floral, some tart. Finish is light grassy and floral. Mild bitterness. Has a medium body -- readily drinkable, and a real delight. Great lager for an anti-lager person.

Bottled, pasteurised, Wetherspoons World of Beer Promo. Deep amber colour, white head, not over carbonated. Surprisingly decent beer, heady fragrant hops with a good chunky dry malt body. Long finishing late hops, a very enjoyable beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
I had this on tap at Newark Airport and thought the barman made an error and brought me a pale ale. However, this bottle from the LCBO confirms that it was a lager. A nice copper amber ale with a thick lacing off white head. Surprising nice floral hops in aroma with light biscuitty malt. In mouth, this is a fresh hoppy pils, with dry crisp malt, floral hops, medium bodied. You can taste the hops upon burping. This was a great acquisition by the LCBO.
