COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Lager, the Brewery's flagship label, is New York's "hometown" beer, brewed to a pre-Prohibition recipe that dates back to the days when Brooklyn was the brewing capital of the East Coast. Brooklyn Lager has won numerous awards. Wrote Michael Jackson in the Simon & Schuster Pocket Guide to Beer: "The dry-hopped, fresh, flowery, firm, flavourful, Brooklyn Lager **-*** started well, in 1988, and has gained in character since."

This accurate lager was my first introduction to craft beer. The Hoppy aroma and well balanced bitterness/sweetness make it my first recommendation for any new comers to specialty beer.

Light hope aroma. Pours a clear orange. Balanced notes of caramel with a short lightly hoppy finish. Very drinkable.

Aroma: Fruit, hops, slight caramel. Appearance: Amber/gold beer with a diminishing white head. Taste/Palate: Starts watery, gets refreshing sweet and ends bitter.

Love the label but cant say exactly the same for the bottles content. Budweiser style beer with slightly more flavor. Pours a pale color with thin white head that quickly thins out. Don’t get me wrong this isn’t a bad beer just not as good as I had hoped.

Bottle. L: pours a slightly orange gold, clear, small head. S: nice malt and honey sweetness, mixed with a grassy herbally hop. T: great taste, good malt body, herbally finish, sweet and floral. F: balanced from start to finish, nicely carbonated, lingering mild hop rising up. O: always my go-to lager. I love Vienna/Amber lagers and this has plenty going on whilst being easy drinking and refreshing.

Compared with the all star American water "Bud" is this Brooklyn Lager a brew of the gods! This is a real fine beer! God taste, sweet aroma and it takes you over the finish line with a long aftertaste!

I had it from the bottle. The aroma is caramel malt. The taste is the same with a nice balance of hops and bread. It’s smooth with some carbonation. There’s some bitterness on the back end. This is a good lager.

Poured from bottle. Light hoppy taste. Not a lot of taste, but hoppy and Vienna lager-ish nodes
