Too fruity for my taste, had a decent hoppie taste to it, but the fruit was just too much for me to give this beer much of a rating. Mediocore at best, even when compared to other fruity beers.

Something went wrong. I was expecting so much when I popped the cap on this beer. Reviews were good. To its credit, there’s a substantial hop presence, but the end product just isn’t all that tasty and drinkable to me.

UPDATED: AUG 25, 2003 This is a light amber lager with a very flowery aroma and flavor. The malt is totally hidden behind the hoppy flowers. Too bad.
2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 PetetheMeat (619) - Hove, DENMARK - OCT 10, 2004
Light amber colour. Off white lasting head. Good carbonation. Malty sweet aroma. Sherry? Malty flavour, sweet. More sherry. Well balanced by a flowery hoppy finish. A touch of underlying sourness? Perfumy notes too? Overall rahter hoppy for a lager, but good though.

Bottle, at home.
Golden amber with white head, almost lasting. Good lacings. Aroma light of hops (flowery) and malt. Flavor light sweet, then heavy bitter. Light body, watery, lively carbonated.

The aroma is actually hopped, thank you Brooklyn. It’s also got some biscuit/bread like yeast and malt. The appearance is amber/gold with a medium head and nice lace. The flavor is like the aroma with an assertive, bitter (tinny and grassy) taste to go along with the bread malts and a slight bit of paper. The palate is as smooth as any I have had from a lager. The finish is somewhat dry and buttery. As lagers go this one is pretty darn good.
