COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Lager, the Brewery's flagship label, is New York's "hometown" beer, brewed to a pre-Prohibition recipe that dates back to the days when Brooklyn was the brewing capital of the East Coast. Brooklyn Lager has won numerous awards. Wrote Michael Jackson in the Simon & Schuster Pocket Guide to Beer: "The dry-hopped, fresh, flowery, firm, flavourful, Brooklyn Lager **-*** started well, in 1988, and has gained in character since."

MIld hop and maltiness give this beer a great sessionability for all-around drinking. Layers of lace kept to the glass with every sip. Wonderfully surprised at how much I enjoyed this beer. No bitterness. Orange-amber color.

The classic Brooklyn you can find: good to drink but anonymous, just a little bit hoppy and floeral, with a short malty taste.

355ml bottle at home. Clear amber/orange with a medium white head with low retention. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Medium bitterness with some sweet tones. Citrus, grass, some hops and herbs. A tasty and refreshing brew.

Drank straight from the bottle. Exhibited a slightly floral hop character coupled with some bitterness and minimal malt sweetness. Drank pretty good with BBQ. Clean finish and quite refreshing.

Deep brown color and rather oily on the palate, no doubt from the heavy addition of hops. Rather grassy aroma and a nice dense and creamy head.

Nice lager. Bigger bolder than normal. Then again, normal for me is American Marcobrew, so lots is better than that. Nice coppery apperance. Good hoppy edge. Very nice beer.

Like the Brown Ale, smooth and full, with bold head, but hoppy with little aftertaste.

First tried on tap at a social function. Nice beer. It has a thick, rich flavor. Substantial is a good word. A great everyday drinker.
