3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Jmichael (640) - Asheville, USA - AUG 11, 2009
heavier body than a lager may generally represent, good full palate, and fluffy mouthfeel. mild flavor but good. I grabbed to have for my fishing trip, wanted a good lager out of the can and it fit the bill rather well. But the best beer (to digress) to have on a boat in the middle of a lake in the middle of nowhere canada, is a bell’s two hearted, bottle. Damn perfect time to have that beer.
3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Foffern (117) - Bergen, NORWAY - FEB 12, 2012
Bottle at restaurant. Has a hazy amber colour with a small off-white head. Aromas of grains, sweet malt, hops, and some fruity berries. It’s more surprisingly fruity in the mouth that reminds me of grapes and plums with the small touch of bitterness from grape skins. It’s balanced nicely with some sweet caramel malt and spices. Light bitterness and a slick and silky mouthfeel. An outstanding vienna with a lot of taste. Drank the beer with a tasteful pizza that made the bitterness more pronounced.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 ACD (29) - Dublin, IRELAND - FEB 7, 2012
12oz bottle. Pours a lovely dark amber with a big off white head - great lacing. I’m a big fan of Vienna lagers & this is a great example; plenty of rich malt in the aroma, deep caramel tones are there in abundance, zesty citrus notes in there too. Taste is incredibly refreshing, great balance between the rich malt and the floral & citrus hops. Robust mouthfeel & a satisfyingly tart finish. Excellent stuff.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20 rangerred (204) - Johnson City, Tennessee, USA - FEB 5, 2012
12oz bottle poured into a pint glass.
Appearance is a clear reddish gold with a thick one finger head that hangs around forever. Wonderful lacing too.
Smells quite citrusy and flowery with a bit of caramel also coming through.
The flavor is a nice balance between malt and hops. A slight tartness up front along with citrus and flower flavors leading to a nice biscuit from the malt. Also some slight toffee and caramel all leading to a moderately bitter dry finish.
This is a great easy drinking beer and a nice alternative to SA Boston Lager.

One of the best bottle beers I’ve tasted. Yeasty aroma with average carbonation. Yeasty hops flavor. Slightly bitter finish. Would definitely buy again.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Padilha (64) - BRAZIL - FEB 4, 2012
Coloração dourada-cobre, com espuma bem consistente.
Lúpulo bem colocado, com retrogosto levemente maltado, dando a base desta lager.
Excelente! Lager de grande estilo e tradição.
