Brooklyn Lager, the Brewery's flagship label, is New York's "hometown" beer, brewed to a pre-Prohibition recipe that dates back to the days when Brooklyn was the brewing capital of the East Coast. Brooklyn Lager has won numerous awards. Wrote Michael Jackson in the Simon & Schuster Pocket Guide to Beer: "The dry-hopped, fresh, flowery, firm, flavourful, Brooklyn Lager **-*** started well, in 1988, and has gained in character since."

Beer Culture: Have been listening the Brooklyn Brewery audiobook, really interesting, a must read for anyone thinking of opening a brewery or any business. After trying Brookly Lager it´s clear why they succeeded. Food Pairing: Beeg in Balsamic sauce.

330ml bottle. Nice amber-golden colour, fine white lager head, this is my imagine of right foam. Malty aroma, there is caramel and bitter aromas too. Flavour of starting bitters, continue some caramel, citrus and hoppy aromas and finnishing with bitterness and floral feels. Congrats US! Very good lager style beer!

Ljusgul med fint skum. Doftar malt och lite humligt. Smaken välbalanserad med finstämda malttoner. Eftersmaken hyggligt lång med fin beska. God.

07/10/16 at a Brooklyn event, Wine Rack, West Byfleet. When this was rolled out realised the event may be less interesting than I thought it would be. Light sweet hoppy/malty aroma. Medium amber. Frothy white head. Bitter, hoppy. Sweet finish. Soft, lighy bodied.

Bottle @ home with Muts51. Aroma is quite bland and doesn’t give much away about the beer. Looks clear but a bit cloudy with an amber colour, no head. Taste is quite bitter and not particularly outspoken otherwise. Quite heavy for a lager though. Overall, very unexciting but not bad either.

10/20 ok but a bit too malty for my taste. Tastes a bit better when it warms up a wee bit ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice bottle but without detail information about the malts, hops and drinktemperature on the labels. Cloudy amber beer with a very nice cream-colored head, heavy bitter, the first smell is fruity, medium body, oily, light caramel and roasty, hops are dominated, long finish, very good, (I have 0.355l bottle)
