COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Lager, the Brewery's flagship label, is New York's "hometown" beer, brewed to a pre-Prohibition recipe that dates back to the days when Brooklyn was the brewing capital of the East Coast. Brooklyn Lager has won numerous awards. Wrote Michael Jackson in the Simon & Schuster Pocket Guide to Beer: "The dry-hopped, fresh, flowery, firm, flavourful, Brooklyn Lager **-*** started well, in 1988, and has gained in character since."

I don’t really think Lager when I drink this beer, but is a nice (and fairly priced) session beer. Aroma is bitter hops with hints of honey. Appearance is a pale orange with minimal head. Taste is bitter on the front with a honey and malt finish. Palate is full bodied. Nice beer.

really well balanced crisp and malty Always seems to be a better flavour in the bottle, perhaps the carbonation on keg is too strong? delicious and widely available so always a good choice

Bottle. Clear light amber, dark orange. Lager aroma with grain and floral notes. The taste is crisp and malty. Very good lager. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Combines surprisingly strong flavorful taste and fresh lightness of lager. Safe choice.

Carbonatation moyenne. Vraiment très bonne Lager.

Pours from a bottle a slightly turbid amber with thin white head with medium bubbles, perhaps chill haze? Aroma is slight floral hoppiness, but not as much as typical with de rigeur dry-hopped, mouthful of hops, kind of beers. Flavor is a rich crystal malt, with a nicely balanced hoppiness. Thin mouthfeel. Perfectly drinkable.

0.335l Golden color, white head stays. Aroma: hops, caramel malts. Taste is hoppy, light body with light bitterness. Notes from malt sweeteness.

Amber with thin scummy white head. Full, round aroma, a bit fruity. Flavor is malt and a mix of sour and bitterness. Thin, peppery mouthfeel. Not bad.

335ml bottle. Pours light amber, cream head with very small bubbles. Aroma is yeast, resin, and lightly citrus. Light body. Lively, but not overwhelmingly so. Dry, bitter finish.
