A smooth, delightful beer. soyorganic (18), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA May 3, 2008 According to the description, this beer has a high eco-footprint. Nevertheless, the ingredients shipped from around the world make this a good beer. The bottle is a presentation in itself. Pours cloudy gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer lacing was not significant. Citrus, yeasty aroma. Nice Belgian flavor with a very slight alcohol taste. Very smooth and flavorful beer with a suble but noticable yeasty, savory belgian aftertaste. A Belgian that does not try to be too fancy it just relies on the quality of ingredients and faith in the process and taste of Belgian beers. durhambeer (200), Durham, North Carolina, USA May 3, 2008 Bottle at WBF in Raleigh. Was expecting more recognizable Belgian notes from this beer. Found it sweet, malty, but not yeasty as I wanted it to be. Simply okay. Would like to try again as I think it was overshadowed by other tastings at the fest.
