Oct 6, 2009 An unclear golden beer with a small head that dissipates to an egg white looking head at the center of the goblet, with a fair amount of carbonation. The aroma is light colored fruits. The taste is fruity, & peppery that has a very carbonated mouthfeel.

Sep 28, 2009 Sampled at DØE Beerfestival 2009, Valby. Poured and presented by Mr. Garrett Oliver himself. Pours an unclear yellow beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is estery and sweet. The flavor is likewise estery with wheat and fruit. The palate is fresh and dry with a little hops. Overall a good beer.

Sep 28, 2009 750ml bottle, Bacchus, Newcastle. Spicy, rich and aromatic. Bittersweet, with cloves and lime in the aroma. Had this after a beer fest session so not really taken enough notes, but, still, superb.

Sep 26, 2009 IVE HEARD NOTHING BUT GREAT THINGS ABOUT THIS BEER AND THE BOTTLE BEING SIMILAR TO A CHAMPAGNE BOTTLE IS VERY APPEALING . JUST GOT IT FOR THE FIRST TIME AND THOUGHT IDE POUND DOWN THE WHOLE THING TO THE HEAD, AFTER POPPING IT OPEN I RELISED THAT THATS NOT HAPPENING. THIS BEER IS A CLOUDY YELLOW WITH A SOAPY HEAD. ITS FULL OF FLAVOR MOSTLY A MALTY AND SPICY ROOT VEGTABLE, KINDA LIKE A SPICED CARROT, NOT OVERPOWERING LIKE SOME OTHER BEERS IVE HAD THAT ARE SIMILAR TO THIS ONE (MOST NOTLABLY LA FIN DU MONDE THIS IS LIKE ITS LIGHTER VERSION) NOT MY FAVORITE FLAVOR FOR BEER DONT GET ME WRONG THIS IS GOOD JUST NOT MY STYLE ( IM NOT BIG ON CARROTS). GREAT FOR FOOD PAIRINGS A LITTLE MUCH FOR CHILLING WATCHING THE GAME.

Sep 26, 2009 Clouded light orange yellow appearance. Smells of banana and other Belgian notes. Strong yet smooth at the same time. Wow very tasty! Nice Belgian spice with sweet bread and banana. Some hints of citrus with an alcoholic tingle. The finish is the only drawback here.
