COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In Williamsburg, Brooklyn, we forge barley malt and hops from Germany, aromatic raw sugar from Mauritius and yeast from Belgium into our latest beer, Brooklyn Local 1. Behind the full golden color you'll find an alluring aroma, a dynamic complex of flavors. Belgian flair, Brooklyn fortitude and a dusting of our special yeast. To create this beer, we use the old technique of 100% bottle re-fermentation, a practice now rare even in Europe. It gives this beer a palate of unusual depth. Enjoy it locally or globally, as an aperitif or with your favorite dishes. It is particularly nice with spicy seafood and with fine cheeses.

Bottle. Cloudy light orange pour with a huge fluffy white head. Aroma got a "wow" out of me - sweet citrus with Belgian yeast. Mouthfeel is creamy-light but seems to "fill up" your mouth. Taste is yeast, clove, banana, and citrus. Really good stuff!

From bottle in tulip glass. Huge white fluffy head with rich golden color in the glass. Sweet sugary aroma with touch of citrus and maybe some spice. Very nice mouthfeel: velvety but with nice effervescence. Sugary spice flavors nicely balanced with herbal hops. Clean warm finish with the hops lingering in the aftertaste. Very nice beer.

750ml bottle. Poured a murky golden color to a light copper. The carbonation is abound producing a fluffy white head that clings to the sides of the glass. The first scent I notice is the Belgium yeast, followed by bread, and a touch of malt. This is a crisp medium bodied ale that presents a sweet malt character quickly replaced by a nice hop bitterness. This ale finishes crisp and dry on mouth.

Upon uncaging, I was promptly shot at with a wild cork. Luckily I came out unscathed, but I was close to dying. The pour is semi-clear gold with a 4 finger head. Dear lord that conditioning yeast was happy... The aroma was orange/lemon peel with some distinctive earthy tannins, and banana/clove spice. The flavor is also loaded with lemony orange citrus, a distinctive earthen spice, and some crisp acidity. The palate is medium bodied with a slippery smooth finish and a super crisp finish. Quite enjoyable.

Cork exploded out of the bottle on opening and gushed everywhere. Consequently, this beer has a monstrous billowy white head and a hazy peach coloration. Aroma holds lots of fruity esters, orange peel, lemon, Belgian style spices, earth, and doughy yeast. Flavor is as I expected, with a good amount of spice, earth, orange zest, and lemon. Palate is light to medium bodied with a crisp, almost acidic finish. Solid brew overall.

Tap @ Copenhagen Beer Fest. Pours hazy yellow. Nice balanced but a little wimpy. Mild notes of citrus, spices. There are a lot of beglian beers of this style that are better.

Pours a very golden color with a thick white foam head. Has an aroma of belgian yeast and spice. Hints of coriander and banana. Has a hoppy foamy sweet taste. Some spiciness. Banana notes. Very good attempt at a BSA. Perhaps a bit too yeasty for me. But I am being picky. A good brew.

opaque gold, wisp of white head.

aroma: bright fruit, bit of belgian yeast funk.

taste:
T1= bright.
T2= belgian yeast funk, co2.
T3= touch of noble hops.

needs some salty seafood or cheese to complete the flavor profile.
