Oct 21, 2008 GABF 08: Light, hazy yellow beer with a firm lil’ white head. Nose was remarkably tart and yeasty, with straw-like banana/lemon characteristics. Yeasty, cob-webby flavors with firm lemony hops and a somewhat creamy mouthfeel. Some bitterness shows in the finish. ITs damn grassy/straw-like and that 9% makes it a little on the hot side.

Oct 21, 2008 750ml bottle. Pours a cloudy, faded yellow with a huge white head. Nose is of straw, lemon and orange. Taste is funky but sweet with lemon, orange and spice. Mouthfeel is medium and dry. This is not a strong ale but a decent Saison.

Oct 18, 2008 750 bottle. Hazy gold. Small white head. Hoppy, spicy nose. A bit malty, very spicy and nice hop profile. A bit alcoholic. Drinkable but not overwhelming. I’ll try another one though!

Oct 12, 2008 Pours hazy light amber with a huge white head. Aroma is malty and sweet and citrusy. Taste is nice, malty and sweet with some citrus in there as well. Very good.

Oct 10, 2008 Pours a four finger white head that fades slowly to a thin layer leaving some lace. Hazy amber color. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Yeasty nose. Flavor is sweet and sour honey with sweet but clean finish. High ABV is hidden. $9.45 for a 750ml bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.

Oct 7, 2008 Not my favorite style, but very good for what it is. It has a very pleasant fruity, yeasty and slightly hoppy aroma. The color is nice to look at and is appropriate for this style of beer. The flavor of the beer is good. Just the right amount of hop flavor without being too aggressive . It also satisfies the taste buds and allows the memory to linger on the palate. No bad after taste at all. Very good beer.

Oct 6, 2008 Bottle. Pours gold with a fluffy white head. The aroma is yeasty, fruity, and hoppy. The flavor brings more of a spicy dimension, and is also yeasty, and a bit earthy and hoppy. Very good.

Oct 5, 2008 750ml bottle, thanks to Swolf3. Great looking bottle,real nice. Pours a light straw color. Smells very lemony and acidic. Very smooth mouthfeel, not too acidic at all, very light on the palate as well. Hide the 9% well. Not bad, thanks Steven.
