Nose was remarkably tart and yeasty, with straw-like banana/lemon characteristics. Yeasty, cob-webby flavors with firm lemony hops and a somewhat creamy mouthfeel. Some bitterness shows in the finish. ITs damn grassy/straw-like and that 9% makes it a little on the hot side. MaltOMeal (652), Land of Sugar, Texas, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 7, 2008 Not my favorite style, but very good for what it is. It has a very pleasant fruity, yeasty and slightly hoppy aroma. The color is nice to look at and is appropriate for this style of beer. The flavor of the beer is good. Just the right amount of hop flavor without being too aggressive . It also satisfies the taste buds and allows the memory to linger on the palate. No bad after taste at all. Very good beer. blipp (1638), Newark, New Jersey, USA
