Medium, 1" white head, rather foamy. Mildly sweet, yeasty nose, a bit of dust, spicy coriander and light banana. Fairly dry flavor, light dust. Lightly bready, coriander and very light clove, a bit of orange. Medium body, pretty well carbonated. Very easy to drink, and certainly does not become boring to the palate. Very nice! There was a fairly large white head on it that drops off quickly and didn’t leave much lacing. The aroma is light and sweet. Some notes of spices, yeast, and some lighter fruits. A bit of effervescence of the tongue. The taste is a bit peppery, yeasty, some very mild fruits. Interesting mix. Not the usual dark fruits found in strong Belgians. This one grows on you. Fresh, gin, and lime spritzer. Different. Too high carbonation, bubbly, but not too sticky. Alcohol is apparent. So is white pepper, capsicum, and overripe fruits like the bottom of a sangria pitcher. 8-3-7-3-14
Great hazy gold color with thick white head. Nice hoppy-fruity aroma with some apricot esters. Smooth carbonation is good. The fruitiness fills the body, which ends up coming up short and finishes too sweet for my taste. theisti (1650), Leawood, Kansas, USA

Pour is hazy straw yellow with tiny carbonation bubbles and a big fluffy white head. Aroma of soft sweet Belgian yeastiness. Taste has some initial sweetness (bright - almost hard candy). A bit of the straw / hay earthiness through the middle, and the sweetness reappears in the finish. This was tasty, though the flavors were not perfectly integrated / blended. Extra overall points given for a really beautiful bottle. kujo9 (1077), North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA

Lightly hazy w/ alcohol legs. Some peppery yeast but also plastickky phenolic. Ripe pears, some corn sugary/dms notes and pils malt... Touches of alcohol & more pear notes Also a hint of marshmallow, clove, toffee, and toasted malt in the nose. Well balanced, but slightly sweet and fruity up front. Some dms and sugary flavors are light along w/ herbal hops. A touch of dry bitterness, and not quite as complex as the aroma. Lighty spicy pear mid palate. White peppery yeast and pils malt flavor mid palate, still a bit sweet. Aftertaste is dry, short, and herbal/floral hop flavored and dry along with some of the peppery yeast. Lighter body, high med. carbonation, nicely hidden alcohol. I’m fairly impressed about this offering from Brooklyn. I wasn’t expecting much, but I’m pleasantly surprised. Subtle but complex, and the only thing I really didn’t care for was the plasticky phenolic similar to JP beers. I think it would pair fairly well with some moderately strong cheeses or salads w/ vinagrette dressing to get a sweet/sour thing going. zathrus13 (1296), Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA

Pours a frothy white, highly carbonated head with a golden body. Nose of coriander, yeast and lemon. Smooth Belgian style with a good yeast flavour. Very mild, slightly tart and oily into the finish but I enjoyed the tongue and chew of this beer.
