Sep 13, 2009 Not the best belgian I have had, but this is a very good effort, and is still an excellent beer (as I think there are so many amazing belgians to choose from, it is tough to stand out in this style even when you have made a good beer).

Sep 1, 2009 Light yellow in color. Smells lightly sweet like honey suckle. Tastes light. Lots of carbonation. Kind of saisonish with spiced fruit flavors. Alcohol is well hidden.

Aug 30, 2009 750ml brown bottle, corked. Golden colour, orange highlighting. Hazy. Compact white head. Nose has spicy yeast, citrusy orangey notes, some nice honeyish sweetness. In the mouth there is a nice citrus sweetness, some bready malts, caramel, spice. Finishes yeasty/spicy and ulitmately dry. Some bread and yeast aftertaste with some light alcohol. Medium body with a soft mouthfeel, light carbonation.

Aug 27, 2009 Bottle. Pours a murky golden-amber with a huge frothy white head that lingers. Crisp / tart aroma, of under-ripe citrus, malt, yeast. Taste is crisp, with malt, preserved citrus, spices, and yeast. Lingering light spiciness. Quite nice.

Aug 27, 2009 750ml: pint glass: Must be the most highly carbonated beer I have ever had! If you pour like a tortoise then maybe, just maybe you can get away with 3 fingers of head... if not, you’re screwed! Great nose, very citrus and bright... the taste is reflective of the same. This beer had some surprising complexity between the citrus and esters, young sugars and slightly dark fruits. Cut through some very spicy bbq food.

Aug 26, 2009 Bubbly clear golden pour, white frothy head. Sweet citrus aroma, some honey and floral notes, pretty subtle. Sweet banana flavor at the front with a little hint of spice in the middle then turns into a more dry citrus mouth-feel at the finish. Enjoyable.

Aug 26, 2009 bottle with cork and cage, cork pops off and a vigorous head pours out. Aromas of dark fruits, some brown sugar and yeast billow out as a honey copper liquid pours into my glass. Effervescent mouthfeel but it smooths out near the middle, honey and some nice raisin, pear, and date fruitiness. Light, not as overbearing as some belgian strongs, good in its own right.

Aug 23, 2009 I shared a bottle of this with BeerBaron617 this evening. We had a nice dinner at Melting Pot in Troy, MI, and enjoyed a bottle of this with our dinner. We were celebrating his leaving for basic training in the Army. Yay Greg!
Either way, on to the beer! The beer poured a nice hazy yellow, medium golden honey color. It had a nice fluffy white head. It had a very nice aroma, sweet, floral, clove, and sweet citrus. This beer had an excellent mouthfeel, full of carbonation and nice light/medium body. It had a nice sweet fruity taste, with a nice spicy accent. Very good, and a nice beer to celebrate with.
