Dec 10, 2007 750 ml bottle poured a hazy gold with a small lasting creamy white head. Aromas of fruitiness, candy sugar and light spice. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of pineapple, pears, candy sugar and spice with a smooth sweet finish.

Dec 10, 2007 Slight hazy golden with an initially thick head that settles down to a thin layer of foam. Yeasty aroma and I can’t pick up much else besides alcohol. Medium body and really charged up with carbonation. Maybe too much. Quite bitter flavor and lots of yeast. Some sugary sweetness. Overall not one of my favorites.

Dec 7, 2007 Great tasting Belgian style beer. A bit sweet, but definitely enjoyable. The taste leaves you wanting a bit more, but not to much. Definitely drink again.

Dec 7, 2007 Golden color with a tall white head. Sugary aroma with some fruitiness. Flavor is yeasty, fruity and hoppy at the end. Very nice.

Dec 5, 2007 750ml caged and corked bottle from Florian’s in Auburn. Pours a hazy golden-orange with a half inch of off-white head that dissipates surprisingly quickly. Smells fruity (orange, lemon), somewhat pithy, spicey with hints of vanilla and wood. Tastes orangey/grapefruity, pithy, malty, with spice, piney hops, and vanilla hinted at as well. Medium to light in body with only moderate amounts of carbonation. Extremely (dangerously) drinkable for its complexity and abv. Phenomenal. Extremely impressed with this one - can’t wait to see how it ages.

Dec 3, 2007 Not huge on this style. However this reminded me of a light Aventius. Slight haze and medium head. Banana like blended with wheat.

Dec 2, 2007 A great brew in my opinion one of their best. When Brooklyn does actual craft beer they do a great job. I say less mainstream brewing and more rare styles like this will get me into Brooklyn Brewery like I was a few years ago.

Dec 1, 2007 Broke this 750 mL bottle out to celebrate the Hokies ACC championship. Nice sweet citrus aroma. Sweet fruit and spice flavor with a little alcohol bite and some yeast. Nice bright carbonation and a spice finish. Another good beer from Brooklyn.
