RblWthACoz (963), Brooklyn, New York, USA Sep 21, 2007 Pours a clouded straw gold with a huge white head. Nose is strong with yeast and a sugar tone. Just smelling it brings back memories of all the great Belgian brews I have had to this point in my beer journey. Flavor is superb. Put this in a plain bottle and no one would know it was out of Brooklyn I am willing to wager. Smooth and even sweetness with a noticable yeast influence. So well balanced and smooth. Unbelievable. Feel is as good as everything else has been to this point. Smooth and with a great level of bubble on the tongue. Drinkable to the worlds joy and detriment. I immediately just wanted to go back and get more. BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Sep 20, 2007 Golden and hazy with nice head retention and lacing. Aroma is herbal and floral with citrus and sugar. Flavour is full of citrus and herbs with a light undertone of sugar and malts. A touch thinner as it finishes. Touch of spice as it warms. Yeasty throughout. jason (1620), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 19, 2007 bottle. Pours a clear golden body with nice head. aroma is of spices, banana, cloves, yeast. Flavor is smooth, perfumed spices. Nice palate. Really reminded me of Duvel, in fact I think it would be hard to decide which is which in a blind tasting. badnewsbeers (1026), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Sep 18, 2007 amber body with large white head..aroma of massive yeast, citrus hops, spice..flavor of yeast, breads, circus peanut..finishes nice and fruity...not bad JPDIPSO (4865), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Sep 17, 2007 Yellow straw color with a hugh billowy off-white head. Lots of effervescence present. Floral hops and light malt present in the aroma along with some lime and dust old barn scent. Somewhat interesting, but nothing really caught my interest. Effervescence everywhere in the palate, that makes the thickness seem to float away. Slight Duvel qualities, but not the finesse. Citric hops bite in the middle and lead to a dry herbal bitter finish that also has a dusty pollen-like character. Linger returns to some pale malt. Quite assertive at times. Lots of things to keep the mind occupied, but not enough pleasant ones to make it truly pleasurable. harrisoni (6704), Ashford, Kent, England Sep 17, 2007 Bottle at LCRBM3. Hazy gold with thin white head. Lovely tangerine aroma. Supposed to be a saison. Light, blond, wheaty and refreshing. Not overly aggressive. gnoff (3560), Göteborg, Sweden Sep 16, 2007 (75 cl bottle from Systembolaget) Clear pale golden color. Grassy fruity hoppy scent. Spicy and hoppy taste. Medium mouthfeel, also medium bitterness. Ty5592 (1015), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 14, 2007 Bottle from DocLock. Drunk 5/28. Yellow color with big head. The flavor and aroma was mainly of fruity bannans.
