Golden orange with a medium off-white head that leaves minimal lacing. Aroma of yeast, sugar, citrus, fruit and moderate spice. Taste starts out malty and sweet and finishes up a bit hoppy and fruity. Decent Belgian ale. hobbersr (393), Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada

| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Jul 7, 2009 Among the more expensive beers I’ve purchased for "at home", and it comes with an attractive label stuck to a very nice embossed bottle. Pour was a medium gold colour beneath a creamy white head. I was reminded of a champagne as the bubbles travelled upwards in the glass. Aroma was very appealing, being lightly spiced. Taste was most pleasing, and the mouth and finish were the same. A very good beer from a brewery which I’m liking a lot. vtafro (469), , New Jersey, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Jun 30, 2009 Bottle. Golden yellow pour with substantial head. Sweet sugar and fruit ester aroma. Favor isn’t too sweet but fu bodied and satisfying for an American "Belgian ale." Dogbrick (2855), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 30, 2009 Sample at AleFest Columbus (06/27/09): This brew pours a cloudy golden-amber color with a medium and foamy off-white head that recedes slowly. Sticky rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of yeast and sweet fruits along with malt. Medium body with flavors of yeast and spices plus citrus and other fruit. The finish is spicy, primarily pepper with a fruity aftertaste. Decent overall, but I am glad I took the #2 first. beerchugger (293), Colorado, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 29, 2009 Pours cloudy orange with minimal head. Smells of lemon, some spice, and other citrus flavors. The taste is similar to the nose with flavors of citrus, coriander, yeast, and fresh bread. Banana and clove is also noticeable. The finish is rather sweet. This beer is very reminiscent of a Belgian and rather enjoyable.
