Gyllene med stor skumkrona . Komplex arom där bröd (jäst) dominerar. Smaken är väl "spritsig" för mig nästan lite stickande.

BOTTLE. Cloudy straw to brown pour with zero head, looked like a cider.. Funky BO nose, yeastie, banana wheat mixture.. Generic wheat style flavour?? I got honey, banana, some sweetness almost like custard? ABV is hidden extremely well, the taste outshines all other aspects.. Sourced AB

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Type: 750ml (25.4-oz.) bottle
Glass: Karl Strauss 26th anniversary snifter glass
From: Eddy’s Beverage Inc. in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
Purchased: July 14, 2015
Consumed: Aug. 15, 2015
Misc.: Born on June 26, 2014; Wire hood
Poured a golden, pale, hazy color with 3-to-4 fingers of off-white, frothy head. Lots of bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Thick, layered, foamy, spiderweb lacing on the sides of the glass. Excellent retention on the top all the way down. (Sight - 4.38)
Smelled pear, apple, kiwi, tropical, banana, faint Belgian peppery spices, green grapes and slightly spoiled fruits. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted similar to the nose with more booziness, almost reminding me of a Dubbel or a Tripel. Got pear, honey, apple, green grapes, Belgian peppery spices, Citra zest, some booziness and banana. (Taste - 4.25)
Light body. Creamy-to-oily texture. Lively carbonation. Longer finish. (Feel - 4.25)
This was a really good beer. Seems a bit long to drink this, even though I only have had it for a month, but good nonetheless. (Overall - 4.25)

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Towering, very dense & fine yellowish head, leaving textbook lace over clear yellowish-golden beer. Quite spicy & yeasty nose, dry herbs, maybe some other grains? Very spicy flavour, toasted, peppery, clove or allspice, "hot". Spritzy MF; spices/yeastesters, keep lingering. Medium bodied. Warming up, alcohol. Tu quoque, Garrett? Another typical USA ale that is supposed to be Belgian.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Very nice and impressive long-lasting foam. It is classified as a strong ale, but the flavor is very similar to a Belgian triple. The aroma is lemon peel, pear and banana, and it also has a slightly sweet malty aroma of light caramel seasoned with coriander. The taste abstracts slightly from a typical triple, it tastes sweet. Fast surpasses the taste for a light sweet light caramel, spicy Belgian yeast, apricot, a little honey, sweet summer fruits like ripe, pear and blood orange. A little bit spicy aftertaste of pepper and coriander. Carbonation is probably the most surprising in this ale for the look does not seem not hard carbonation, but in the mouth awakened a lively icing to life and contributes to a surprising cascade of all the aforementioned flavors. Hop bitterness is very moderate and keeps only just life in the edge like this ale must have before fruit flavors and caramel flavor becomes too dominant. The alcohol is relatively high, but contributes only to finish with a small marked peak flavor. In its entirety it reminds a bit like a Duvel, but just a little more smoothing of its flavor elements. Really elegant strong ale with dry aftertaste.
