COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Here in Brooklyn we’ve combined European malt and hops, Belgian dark sugar, and raw wildflower honey from a New York family farm to create Brooklyn Local 2. Our special Belgian yeast adds hints of spice to the dark fruit, caramel, and chocolate flavors. After 100% bottle re-fermentation, this ale reveals a marvelous dry complexity, enjoyable by itself or at the dinner table.

Pours a dark brown colour with a ruby tint when held in front of the light and a small off-white head. Aroma is of sweet caramel malts, spices, some yeast and alcohol notes. Taste is somewhat sweet and malty at first and then more like spices with a long bitter finish. Full bodied, strong carbonation and smooth on the palate. Very good beer overall.

Murky brown pour with a thin beige head. Aroma of spices, honey and bubble-gum. Good flavor of spices, honey and bubble-gum over a light to medium body and moderate carbonation. It’s a good beer, but I prefer Local 1 by far.

75cl bottle. Dark chestnut color with a weak off-white head. The aroma shows some alcohol warmth, caramel, dried fruit, and grape juice. The flavor is sweet with lots of toffee and a grape fruitiness. Finishes a little hot and boozy. Highly carbonated and medium bodied. "That’s so random!" said a better woman than I. illidurit gets it. Not bad, but a little muddled and hot.

Bottle courtesy bulletrain76. Pours a brilliant ruby color with a rusty tinge. Thick tan head leaves wispy lacing. Grapey, pruney aroma, similar to white grape juice. Flavor is more bready with a subtle mintiness. Grape still comes through but not as strongly. Finish is a bit short with a fruity boozy note. A little sticky, not bad. Pretty interesting but kinda random.

Wow. Best beer I’ve had in awhile. A nice brown ale full of spices. The cork jumped out of the bottle practically on it’s own, and as promised the brew is very effervescent. Balanced beyond belief.
