Sampled at an esbls tasting. Cloudy and reddish brown. A nice light tan foam gushed after rolling. The nose is like some wild pollen. I tastw yeast on first sip. Rich malt, too. Some nice hops pop up and are soft but nice. Some bitterness. Citrus is noted but not big.

750ml Bottle @ Joes Tasting. Thanks Joes for sharing. Brown / red color, small slightly off-white head. Smell yeast and some caramel. Tastes more fresh, also sweet, fruits and a little citrussy. Good carbonation, medium body.

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2011 Serving glass: Poured from bottle into Snifter.
Appearance: Chocolate color with massive creamy head. Pretty good lacing.
Aroma: Very fruity and chocolaty with clove, spicy hops and light honey.
Taste: Chocolate, dark fruit and caramel drive the malt base, with a touch of musty earthiness. Spicy finish from the yeast (clove) and hops. Touch of the added orange peel at the finish as well.
Palate: Moderate carbonation with a fairly silky, warming body. Thinner than expected, likely due to the sugar and honey - maybe slightly too thin. Nice dry finish.
Overall: Very strong BSDA. Surprisingly easy to drink with a great flavor profile, but the body is simply a little too thin to be top tier for me.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 OmegaX (383) - Florida, USA - SEP 3, 2011
Seen this one on the shelf for so long that I finally decided to try it. Nose is nice and sweet with honey and slight citrus on the nose. Some caramel in there and a slightly fruity aroma like dark fruits. Malty/grainy, also. Poured a nice dark brown with a tan colored head like an Abt. Taste was very pleasant and well balanced. A nice sweet touch from honey/sugar and some caramel and bready malt mixed with a plum/cherry/orange flavor. Excellent.

Cloudy brown with medium large frothy tan head. Aroma of a beer you’d like to drink with brown sugar, orange peel, malt, bread, and volatile organic compounds. Full body with some mild alcohol presence. Flavor a little sweet but not too much, pretty dry, dark fruit, chocolate, spices, yeast. Pretty dry finish with some citrus and hops. Pretty good I guess I’ll have to try the #1 next.

Cloudy brownish-orange color with a large head that settles down to a whisp. Yeasty aroma with some spice that’s probably just the yeast, but kinda smells like corriander. Fruity. Very light orange, but that could be the power of label suggestion. Dry malt flavor. Very dry. Dried breadcrumbs, graininess and toast. Light roasted barley hints. Not bad at all, but it doesn’t seem to live up to its own description.
