Bottle at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Pours glowing copper with a medium tan head. Nuts and raisins aroma. Good dry nutty flavours, hint of chocolate, some fruit. Full-bodied. An enjoyable barley wine.

Jul 14, 2008 Strong dark ale with lots of alcohol warmth and roasted backnotes. Not my favorite type of beer but better than other barleywines I’ve had.

Jul 10, 2008 12oz bottle from Kingdom Liquors (Tampa, FL). Aroma is hops, grapefruit, dark ripe fruit, brandy, malty sweetness (like caramel). Flavor is sweet malt, hoppy-bitterness, caramel-honey sweetness with notes of hops. Medium to full-bodied with a clean, sweet malt finish. Nice ale.

Jul 9, 2008 Bottle. Pours a dark brown / amber colour with beige head. Aroma is dark fruit, sherry, hops, caramel. Flavor is much of the same with a dark spicy, port like feel feel to it. Will age well. I hope.
