4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: MAY 22, 2003 2001 Vintage:This beer had a nice malty profile followed by a nice hop finish. I feel that it is a bit small for a barley wine style for my liking, but overall it was a good beer. I just re-rated this beer, because I just had my second bottle that has been aging for another year. The malt profile has held up really well. Sweet and fruity. The hops are hidden well in the backround, but for an English style Barleywine, this has aged wonderfully. I highly suggest finding one.

330ml bottle 2012 @ home. From Saveur Biere. Production date 3242.
Fine pale see-through reddish colour. Low circle foam goes around the glass. Good taste but I miss more intense grip.
Feels first too simple but gets much better when getting warmer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
English hop aroma. Flavor of alcohol strikes first. Still cold so might take a little while for other flavors to come to play. Definantly a sipper.
