COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Oktoberfest was introduced in 2000. It is true to the original German style, full-bodied and malty, with a bready aroma and light, brisk hop bitterness.

Bottled: Pours a lush orange amber color with a tight sticky off-white cap which lasts and laces well. Big toasty-bready aromas, herbal-woody noble undertones - authentic Marzen aroma. The body and flavour are a let-down after the promise of the wonderful aroma - a tad on the thin side for the style and the flavour (although relatively authentic with toasty Munich red malts and noble hopping) is a both thin as well and with an overly dry finish. Other than these two minor issues this is a decent craft Marzen although I prefer Sam Adams to this version.

Metalchopz (1789) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 9, 2012
Purchased a 6-pack of this at the LCBO. This Oktoberfest brew pours a deep amber (almost copper) colour with a big creamy light beige head, good retention and some spotty lacing. Big toasty bread malt aromas with caramel, alcohol and hints of hop. The taste is pretty mild compared to the scent. Lightly malted with noted of grass in the aftertaste. Not too sweet, which is good. An average Marzen that could of been quite good, had it matched its taste to its nose.

Poured from bottle into pint glass. Clear amber color with small white head. Aroma is caramel and malt. Taste isn’t that strong or flavorful, mostly sweet and malty, with a little hop bite. Moderate carbonation that leaves not much of lingering harshness.

muy parecida a la brooklyn lager tanto que no es mucha la diferencia ente una y la otra y por esto el sabor es similar

Pours a dark amber with a moderate frothy beige head. Aroma is caramel malts and bread. Taste is big malt, caramel and light biscuit. Seems a bit maltier than most Oktoberfests that I’ve had in Germany but this is still a really good beer.

Bottle. Auburn colour, off-white head. Caramel malt, rather toasty, a little breadcrusty, with a fairly assertive hoppy finish. Not getting the Munich malt vibe, but the malts are nice nonetheless. This was almost more like a mini-doppelbock. That’s a good thing, even though it may not be true to the intended style.
