COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Oktoberfest was introduced in 2000. It is true to the original German style, full-bodied and malty, with a bready aroma and light, brisk hop bitterness.

Clear copper body topped by a small, quickly dissipating beige head. Aroma is earthy and cereal. Taste is medium sweet caramel tinged with earthiness. Avoids being too sweet. Medium body with a slight chewiness.

Bottle. Light orangy colour with an average head. Aroma of malts and hops. Flavour is smooth with toasty malts and some fruitiness with a little lemony touch. Pretty good!

Pours reddish brown with little creamy off-white head. Aroma is very sweet - much maltiness. Mouthfeel is a bit of a letdown - a little watery. Sweet taste with a sour aftertaste.

Dark amber with a moderate head. The aroma is malty and the flavour is on the thin side, but does have notes of roasted malt, sweetness, caramel and a bit of fruit. The bitterness is moderate and the finish rather short. I don’t think this is up to the normal Brooklyn standard.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours copper with a beige head. Somewhat bready aroma with some saaz pungency. Near med body. It is mild bready, and there’s a nice amount of (I think) grass. Certainly tingles in the mouth.

Bottled: Clear amber coloured. Brownish head. Sweet and grassy. Has some distinct malty notes. Light caramel and fruit in the background. Is sweet and malty in the end. Light to medium bodied.
