Commercial Description:
Brooklyn Oktoberfest was introduced in 2000. It is true to the original German style, full-bodied and malty, with a bready aroma and light, brisk hop bitterness.

I was able to try Brooklyn Oktoberfest on Election night 2008. The beer is an amber brown color with a light brown head. The aroma is full of sweet fruits with a dry sweet hop. This was an enjoyable beer for a very unenjoyable night.

orange color with a nice head that disappears quickly. A little lacing. Malty and carmel, a little lighter in flavor than I expected, but it’s nice.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy orange to brown with a diminished white head. Fruity and dense malty aroma. Sweet malty and slight spiced to breadish. Vague roasted malty. Sweet caramel and slight breadish lingering into the finish.

Pours copper with a fluffy white head with a slight peach colored tint. Smell is slightly metallic with some toasty malt shining through. Ultra-grainy taste but not too much bite. Lighter and smoother than many in this style. I’m not usually a fan of this style, but the flavor in this is subdued, so it isn’t that bad. For those who like this style, it would be lacking.
