In my glass I had two colors, gold at the bottom, golden brown at the top. A very weak head. Has a slightly fruity taste with a slightly unpleasant, but not offensive aftertaste. Interesting aroma, but very faint. It has a certain scent I would associate with a scottish single malt. A faint malty aroma. That will do just fine.

Mid amber with finely bubbled white foam head. Sweet toffee malt and a touch of apple on the nose. All about the malt in the flavour, sultana shortcake and digestives, with the faintest of spicy hops in the finish. Slightly ovecarbonated biting the tongue.

Pours a light/medium brown with a short off-white head..
Scent is mild, sweet malt, and basement.
Taste is malty, biscuity,vegetable, fruit.....a slight tea aspect.
Notr bad, but a little odd feel, a bit flat.

This poured a nice lighter brown color with a white head. Aroma was caramel, nuts, and grassy hops. Flavor was much the same, very balanced between semi sweet malt and just enough hops to keep it from being too sweet.

Amber orange with a thin white lace. malt aroma. Metallic hint with a thin texture.

Pours a deep gold/amber color with a medium head. Tastes and smells great with fruit and biscuit notes. Medium bitterness.

Originally reviewed: 1/23/09. Pours a darker gold with a pretty small head that goes away as quick as it’s poured. No lacing. Smells really good. This is the high point of this beer. I smell sweet malt, bread, and honey. It makes me want to drink this now!
Mouthfeel is crisp and clean, which I like. I’m not sure where the flavor went on this one. The taste and aftertaste is like I just ate some beef stew. Ick. I love me some stew, but I don’t want to drink it. The honey that I smelled is absent as there isn’t an ounce of sweetness that I can find. Just a weird bitter meaty flavor. This is weird. Avoid.

Nice toasted malty profile with a solid hop backing. Nice character overall.

poured deep copper colour. thin head. sweet aroma. smells like sweet raisin? m says its good. i agree. easy drinking that leaves appeal for more.

fairly clear brew having amber like colour. aromas of corn chips, some weird burnt quality about the malts, almost smells like a ballpark. tastes a bit better than beers at the ballpark but that is about it. flat, fast finish, with a sligthly more body than a macro but not much!
