COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Pilsner is a refreshing golden lager beer, brewed in the style favored by New York’s pre-Prohibition brewers. In the 1840’s, the pilsner style emerged from central Europe to become the world’s most popular style of beer. Like its ancesters, Brooklyn Pilsner is traditionally brewed from the finest European two-row barley malts. German-grown Perle and Hallertauer hops provide a crisp, snappy bitterness and fresh, floral aroma. We ferment Brooklyn Pilsner at cool temperatures and then give it a long, gentle maturation (lagering), which results in a beer of superior complexity and smoothness.

Bottle. Wow, quite bad. Yellow fizzy waste. Honey sweet and a rush of sour malting. No thanks.. maybe instead of eastern european pils though.

(12 ounce bottle - pint glass) Has a clear golden yellow appearance. Has a large head that retents well and leaves a great lace. Aroma is of pale malt balanced with floral hops. Light sweetness and medium bitterness. Light to medium body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation and an abrupt bitter finish.

Very light, has some malty sweetness to it, not much on the aftertaste. Surprisingly weak offering from a good brewery.

Tap in brewery. Orange body, white head. Aroma has clear notes of malt and some bouquet hops. Some bitterness. Flavours are clear also, malt and hoppiness comes through. I don’t get the superior complexity they are advertising. Light and easy, but don’t stand out.

Light, citrusy, dry. Easy to drink. Smooth. Decent offering from Brooklyn Brewery.

Pours clear orange-yellow with a thin white head and some nice lacing. Aroma is a bit skunky with orange peel and possibly an avacado/ cilantro smell. Very wet mouthfeel with a more dry finish. Taste is tart, almost horseraddishy in it’s bitterness but not overwhelming. Finishes with more orange peel verging on bitter grape fruit. Dissapointing considering some of the reviews i’ve read but maybe I just don’t have a taste for pilsners.

Pale blond color with a white head that leaves lacing on the glass. Bold malt aroma - grainy, nice floral hops. Sweet malty with a citrus and bitterness in the end. Refreshing and pleasant.
