Bottle. Nice copper body with a good white head that holds well and laces decently. Nice malt and hops character on the aroma. Very fresh and flavorful brew. Perfectly balanced flavor. Lite and smooth with the perfect amount of carbonation. Overall: we should all drink more of this beer!

Normally I don’t drink Pilsner but I decided to try one from Brooklyn the brewery I like.
12 ounce bottle. Pours a hazy golden-amber color with a nice lacy head. Aroma of floral hops with hints of citrus and malts. Flavor is mild (for Pilsner) hops upfront balanced by some maltiness. Finish is short, dry with grapefruit notes. OK beer, but expected more from Brooklyn.

Bottle: Standard yellow beer.
Hops aroma, standard and relatively weakly flavored beer. Main flavor is malt followed by the bitterness. I don’t get any complexity. Standard middle of the road beer.

Bottle, Mondiale 09. Yellow, small white head. Slightly sweet aroma with faint hops. Decent taste - actually somewhat malty, with some pils like hops. Straightforward, fine.

Lemony gold coloured, slightly hazy brew that poured out a small bright white head and left a good ammount of messy, sticky lacing. Awsome retention and excellent carbonation as well. Aroma is really good and suprising with lots of buiscutty malts, notable yeast, brown sugar and a touch of something herbal (??). I loved the malts in this beer! Lots of flavour with an interesting creamy taste. Decent malts, medium biterness and small ammounts of spiciness, something floral, yeast and I swear there’s orange too. A super soft mouthfeel with a great swish, light to medium bodied and leaves a mix of soft yeast and mild bitterness for the aftertaste. Damn fine beer!
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Cirrhosis (887) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 8, 2009
Very pale golden brown body that looks mildly hazy in my glass a modest sized head was produced but was gone after a minute or two a small skiff remained that was constantly replenished with good carbonation bubbling to the top. Hops was the first thing I noticed this was well complemented with some sweet smelling darker malts, the aroma seems to be getting more and more faint by the minute. Is that sour candy I can slightly pick up? Good smelling beer but nothing amazing. On the very first sip the first thought that comes to mind for me is apple juice, very malty beer I’m loving it. Nice smooth slightly roasted malt flavor comes through awesomely and this is perfectly balanced with some nice light hopping. The flavor starts and finishes with a mild bitterness, mouth fell is medium bodied and has a good amount of carbonation. Great brew the taste is very crisp and refreshing, I will be picking this up again I can see this in my regular rotation.
