COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Pilsner is a refreshing golden lager beer, brewed in the style favored by New York’s pre-Prohibition brewers. In the 1840’s, the pilsner style emerged from central Europe to become the world’s most popular style of beer. Like its ancesters, Brooklyn Pilsner is traditionally brewed from the finest European two-row barley malts. German-grown Perle and Hallertauer hops provide a crisp, snappy bitterness and fresh, floral aroma. We ferment Brooklyn Pilsner at cool temperatures and then give it a long, gentle maturation (lagering), which results in a beer of superior complexity and smoothness.

Pours gold into the glass with a small head. Aroma is very weak in this beer. Not a whole lot of floral in the nose, just a bit of cereal. It is a very refreshing beer, however, and would be well suited for a session.

On tap. Aroma of sweet malt, maybe some breadiness, but pretty straightforward, hops in the background. Flavor is arrestingly hoppy, grassy. Quite solid, a pleasant surprise.

On tap at the local bar. Pours a golden yellow with a white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma and flavor of buttery popcorn, sweet malt. Didn’t really like this one-- too sweet and buttery and not well balanced. Not a fan.

12 ounce bottle from Chips. Pours golden with a snow white head and some lace. Malty with some corn and crisp hops. Very hoppy. Underlying malt helps with balance, but this beer is very hoppy. Medium body, and dry as hell. Very under rated.

Bottle from shop rite. Pours a straw golden body with a white head. Aroma is sweet malt and earthy bitterness. Flavor was initially bitter with some floral earthy flavors coming through.

Pours light golden with a medium sudsy white head. Sweet toasted biscuit malts with a good German hop bite. A sweet sour malty first taste the moves towards bitter floral hops. Pretty buttery for a pilsner. The No skunkiness at all, the malts weigh in pretty heavily here. Extremely smooth and glassy though, great body and carbonation.

Aroma is malty/grainy and pretty light. Not much to be said for it. Pale gold appearance with a small white had. A little sweet malt on the start but a very bitter finish that doesn’t linger for too long. Medium bodied. Very middle of the road pilsner, not great, not bad.

its pale and crispy maybe smooth but not complex. just doesn’t live up to the quality pils tip. what can you say but...eh
