COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Pilsner is a refreshing golden lager beer, brewed in the style favored by New York’s pre-Prohibition brewers. In the 1840’s, the pilsner style emerged from central Europe to become the world’s most popular style of beer. Like its ancesters, Brooklyn Pilsner is traditionally brewed from the finest European two-row barley malts. German-grown Perle and Hallertauer hops provide a crisp, snappy bitterness and fresh, floral aroma. We ferment Brooklyn Pilsner at cool temperatures and then give it a long, gentle maturation (lagering), which results in a beer of superior complexity and smoothness.

I liked it better the more I drank through the case. I found the aroma to be slightly skunky, the appearence was gold. Flavor was okay, but could have used more hops

12 oz bottle Pours a light golden with white head. Aroma is of lemon and corn. Strong hoppy taste with good carbonation. Not a remarkale beer but refreshing none the less.

Light golden with a nice white head. Strong aroma of hops and lemon. Very fresh, dry and balanced flavour. The citrus stays through the aftertaste.

It’s not called Pilsner by chance : it reminded me of a Danish Pilsner, slightly tasteless ans belo average overall. I wonder why the Brooklyn Brewery would produce such an uninteresting beer.

On tap at Brooklyn Brewery, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY. Brownish yellow hued beer having a small diminishing head with spare lacing. No discernable carbonation. Some malt aroma. Medium bodied (rather odd) that starts with a watery nutty malt flavor with some off flavor (oxidation product?). Finishes with odd smoke flavor. No discernable hops. A rather surprising and ghastly rendition of a pilsner. Brewing error at the brewery?

slightly hazy golden colour. Long lasting white head. Hoppy aroma and also a little malty. Flavour is crsip floral hoppy with a maltyness. Not like a good german pilsener, but drinkable.

A creamy white head caps this cloudy yellow pils from Brooklyn Brewery. The beer has a rich hoppy aroma and a smooth body with a mild taste of corn.
