COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Pilsner is a refreshing golden lager beer, brewed in the style favored by New York’s pre-Prohibition brewers. In the 1840’s, the pilsner style emerged from central Europe to become the world’s most popular style of beer. Like its ancesters, Brooklyn Pilsner is traditionally brewed from the finest European two-row barley malts. German-grown Perle and Hallertauer hops provide a crisp, snappy bitterness and fresh, floral aroma. We ferment Brooklyn Pilsner at cool temperatures and then give it a long, gentle maturation (lagering), which results in a beer of superior complexity and smoothness.

On tap Boston Beer Summit ’02: It didn’t look or smell that great, but this pilsener came through at the end with a great crisp taste.

pretty nice version of this style of beer. It’s light, sweet, tany, with a very nice crisp finish, that slightly reminds me of an IPA.

had it at the blue tusk in syracuse,color and clarity,as good as any american pilsner ,aroma kinda sucked,alittle malt and alot of D,apon tasting, i found it to be just as disappointing,at first a good hop bite ,with a hole lotta D,i,ve had better exampeles,out of growlers that came half way cross the states,{thanks gary}

very nice pils. clean malt flavor with a sharp saaz hop bite. the hops lend a hint of spices and fruit. As good as most european pilsners.

All the hype previous raters had put on this beer was impossible for this to live up too. Bottom line, its a poor excuse for a pilsner.

Crisp, clean, spicy taste is better than the flowery, sugary corn smell (ever have creamed corn?). Nice hoppy finish. Golden-straw coloring with very little head, I enjoyed this more after about the third sip.
