On tap at Texas Beer Fest. Pours a pale golden with a small frothy white head. The aroma is wheat and floral. Light mouthfeel with a light wheat and honey with a nice crisp finish. Easy to drink, great on a hot day, a good pilsener from Brooklyn.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Sevenlee (375) - Central Coast, NSW, AUSTRALIA - MAY 5, 2011
Pours a nice golden colour with a nice frothy white head which gives great lacing. Aroma is citrusy malt with noticeable hops. Taste is slightly sweet citrus then backed up with a nice strong bitter finish which makes it slightly unbalanced but for a hop head like myself, it’s unbalanced the right way. Beautifully soft in the mouth, maybe a little too soft. Overall, fantastic Pilsner!

Issac Newtons. Golden pour with aromas of mild spice and bread.
This was a good pilsner , but it didn’t blow me away. I did like the citrusy ending.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 SamP01 (186) - New Jersey, USA - APR 23, 2011
Pours a nice golden amber with an offwhite head. Aroma of grassy citrusy hops, light fruity notes, with some malt and cereal grains make a presence in the taste. Palate is light bodied, with good carbonation, and crisp mouthfeel. Finish is malt, yeasty, grass, some light citrus hops and a bit of skunkyness. Overall an ok brew.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 iowaherkeye (2431) - San Diego, California, USA - APR 15, 2011
12oz bottle, best before September 2011. Clear light golden with a two finger pillowy white head, good retention. Spicy noble slightly grassy and earthy hops up front in the nose, more akin to SA Noble Pils, not really getting any florals that I usually do (and love). Some pale malts and some saltine crackers finish it out, which would be fine, but then there’s a light honey sweetness that is a little off-putting for me. Flavor is spicy herbal hops with some grassy notes following, though I can’t shake that bit of sweetness that is ever-present. The lager yeast tends to have that same scant sweet quality that Sam Adams beers have, which makes me a little sad. Surprisingly semi-dry finish, with bitterness peaking at a 3-4, very earthy, and lingering. Smooth medium body with light to moderate carbonation. Not too bad--probably one of Brooklyn’s better offerings--but I’m kind of stingy on pilseners. Too much sweet malt presence for me.

12 oz bottle, with my brother John after the Furthur show. Pale malt aroma, floral, nice spiciness. Simple, not a bad Pilsener, but weak as far as Brooklyn standards.
