Light aroma of grassy hop over slightly bready pale malt. Medium body (almost) with fluffy carbonation. Flavor builds up more grassy bitter into the finish. Hop turns more floral than grassy. It’s crisp and clean. Breadiness makes it seem more German than Bohemian. Eh! Pretty decent American lager. More of them should be like this. thornecb (1822), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA

Aroma is largely grain and hops with slight spice notes thrown in. Taste is run of the mill pilsner with a nice spice characteristic buried in there. It’s a solid offering, but nothing really stands out. durhambeer (1245), Durham, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 16, 2008 Bottle. Not bad at all. Golden pour, decent head. Crisp, but not as Saazy as many pilsners... guess b/c they used Perle and Hallertauer. A bit more floral/spicy than some. Refreshing on the summer day in which I drank it. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 13, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Decent pils color, big pouffy head. Malt smell is pretty light, to let some of the noble hops in. Date notch is "Best before 08/08," so not in full flower of freshness, but a fine taste of German hops with spice and pepper. Crispy malt flavor. A fine, solid beer and good example of a pils. fakepurseninja (798), Washington, USA

Rich nose of malt and floral hops. Amber pour. Like other offerings from this brewery, the yeast flavor comes across, and the hops do too. This dry and sharp brew is an unusual version of a pilsner. The residual flavor is slightly sour and hoppy. Good. blutt59 (2186), Dallas, Texas, USA
