COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Pilsner is a refreshing golden lager beer, brewed in the style favored by New York’s pre-Prohibition brewers. In the 1840’s, the pilsner style emerged from central Europe to become the world’s most popular style of beer. Like its ancesters, Brooklyn Pilsner is traditionally brewed from the finest European two-row barley malts. German-grown Perle and Hallertauer hops provide a crisp, snappy bitterness and fresh, floral aroma. We ferment Brooklyn Pilsner at cool temperatures and then give it a long, gentle maturation (lagering), which results in a beer of superior complexity and smoothness.

G: Pilsner Urquell pilsener glass. A: Very light. Not too much carbonation. A decent-sized bone-white head. S: Grassy. Slight hop presence. Grainy malts. T: Very clean and crisp. M: Very light body. Slight carbonation and not much alcohol presence. Bites the tip of the tongue. D: Highly drinkable. Pretty good example of the style. The fiancee likes it.

Bottle at the Breslin inside the Ace Hotel. A bit dry, though crisp and tasty for a pils. Not overwhelming flavorful by anymeans. Not my style, but decent within.

12 oz bottle. Pours golden in colour with big white head, leaves tonnes of fine lacing. Aroma and taste are that of a very nice pilsner!

Got as part of a World Market variety pack. More malty than I expected. Decent but I’m not foaming at the mouth for more. Serving: Bottle

Appearance: clear brownish gold with a small head. Aroma: skunky grass and grains. Taste: sharp, bitter and tangy. Finish: medium, bitter and tangy. Notes: Not good, but also noticed it was over a year past the expiration date about halfway through. I owe it another chance, I suppose.

An all around average pilsner that is brewed in an American style and not as light and crisp as a German.

12 oz bottle from Jonathan Ron Brielle. Poured a translucent light copper colored body with a large pillowy bright white head. Aroma.a of sweet malts, honey grains, corn. The body has a medium to fuller foamy mouthfeel and a strong large bubbly carbonation. Flavor isn’t as sweet as the aroma and mostly grains with a note of corn. Not the best I’ve tried for sure but judging by rhetoric stores turn around d rate this wasn’t the freshest of examples either.
