3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 BMan1113VR (6459) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JAN 12, 2012
On tap at the brewery. Pours with a clear golden hued body with a white head. Aromas are hoppy, bready, with a slightly out of place fruitiness. Flavors show mild fruit, malty, medium bitter. Mild ester. Creamy carbonation on a drier palate.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Emil (6070) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 3, 2005
Bottle. Golden colour with a medium white head. Light sweet hay hoppy aroma and a light sweet malty and hoppy taste. Medium body and a dry light bitter finish.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Cletus (6064) - Connecticut, USA - SEP 5, 2005
Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells of yogurt, lemons and some hay. Tastes orangey with a very nice sweet finish. A classic pils it is not, but this is one heck of a good beer.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 DocLock (5966) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 14, 2004
Pours golden with a big white head. Aroma of malt, hops, and honey. Tastes like honey, with a crisp, smooth, malt-based finish. Also in the finish were citrus, chardonnay, and fruity hints. Slightly light on the palate, but very refreshing.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 daknole (5853) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - NOV 27, 2008
Bottle. Another pils that I will not be trying again. Gold pour, white head. Aroma is malty, grainy and some hops. In all reality this is better than most Amercian pils...but I just don’t like the style. Flavor is malty and grainy with a half decent hit of hops.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Skinnyviking (5712) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 28, 2006
Bottle. Whitre short head. Unclear yellow body. Strangely fruity aroma. Rich fruity flavor without being sweet, nice bitterness.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Rciesla (5499) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - JUN 2, 2008
Bottle from shop rite. Pours a straw golden body with a white head. Aroma is sweet malt and earthy bitterness. Flavor was initially bitter with some floral earthy flavors coming through.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 duff (5483) - St, Margarets, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 16, 2005
Bottle. Pretty bland and boring pils, tastes like a drinkable microbrewed lager, i.e, pretty clean, but clean in this case means pretty much no flavour. Dissapointing.
2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Radek Kliber (5306) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - DEC 30, 2002
Aroma wasn’t that bad, sweet a bit berry like. The taste was not true to its name. Lack of freshness, unpleasant, unbalanced. It was not sharp, crisp, hoppy nothing of that. If that is what people drink in Brooklyn I pity them.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Cornfield (5277) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - AUG 13, 2005
The creamy head quickly dissipates to about a quarter inch thick, but it’s continually reinforced by a heavy stream of tiny bubbles in this highly spritzy brew. Nice golden color. It’s got a light, sweet grainyy aroma fortified by some serious flowery hops and a dash of black pepper. Lively in the mouth, it’s a crisp, clean tasting Pils that finishes on a satisfyingly bitter note. Pretty decent.
