BCMike22 (79), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Apr 1, 2008 Poured into pint glass. A light, golden color. A little cloudy, not quite transparent. Good head which fairly quickly faded. Light malt scent, nothing too strong. Very, very bitter. Overly malty. Not very balanced. Sour finish. I think I may have just gotten a bad bottle, as this just is far below Brooklyn’s normal quality. Will re-rate if I get another bottle.
blutt59 (502), Dallas, Texas, USA Jul 18, 2008 bottle, hoppy nose and good sweet hop notes with bitter citrus flavors on the finish , a very nice pilsner cryfreedmb (95), Ocean, New Jersey, USA Jul 7, 2008 Oddly enough from my BOMC. Golden in color with a nice white head. Nice crisp smell of hops. This brew was very fresh. Really good. Very refreshing and crisp. Nice hop bit to it. Very drinkable. Another good beer from a excellent brewer. BigBeer45 (442), Troy, Michigan, USA Jul 7, 2008 Pours a clear orange-yellow gold with a creamy white head that hangs around for a while, has a good amount of honey like sweetness and a pilsner bread aromas with floral fragrances in the mist, pilsner malt and faint bread flavors with a good hop bitterness and citrus that follows from the initial drink to the finish, there is some bitterness that carries on after the finish, a very nice drink, medium mouth feel or so, good and tasty, I recommend it. chandler0201 (88), Durham, North Carolina, USA Jul 6, 2008 Pours a strawish color with minimal head. Aroma of citrus. Flavor is lemon and malty and somewhat bitter. For a pilsner its pretty good. alexsdad06 (555), Ohio, USA Jul 3, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear straw color with a thin white head. The aroma is citrus, wheat grass, and pale malt. The flavor is bready/biscuity malt with some lemon citrus. The finish has a general bitterness to it. Decent pilsner, its just hard for me to get excited by this style.
