Beautiful golden yellow with half inch head that stayed through most of the glass. Very citrusy and grassy -- the website says the traditional pils hop combination, but I would almost swear Cascade or Liberty hops were used in some capacity. ANyhow, the brew had a wonderful smoothness and well balanced character. I could certainly session with this brew. Too bad I only get to have it when I fly in to the NY area. Good job Garrett. Cheers!

This beer has a crisp fresh smell, just as the description says. This had more malt than I am used to in a pilsner, however it worked well with the hops. The hops were really evident in the finish. I liked this pilsner very much!

Nice crisp and clean pils with a tasty sugary cereal like maltiness and german hop spicy bitterness. Very tasty.

One of the best American interpretations of this style. A little maltier than a traditional German or Bohemian. But wonderful hop presence ... pleasant zest and tongue tingles. Thin and preeminately drinkable, this is the perfect summer beer.

12oz bottle: Deep golden pour with a inch thick frothy head that does a good job of sticking around. The creamy, malt driven nose is inviting. Lots of honey and toffee upfront with lesser notes of sourdough and noble hops in the back. The hops come out in the body, nice and bitter, balancing the maltiness. Grassy, piney hops offer the resin needed to balance the luscious malts. Very clean and defined without, this is a fine example of what a great pilsner can be.

Bottle. Nose is floral -- geraniums -- and mandarin orange. Pours a gold-orange with a fine-grained head that leaves lace. Taste -- well, let’s put it this way: this is the beer that most macro-brew fizzy stuff wants to be, and utterly fails at being. This is the perfect ballpark beer. This is beer to be drunk after a long day at the factory. This is damn fine stuff.

thicker than your European pilsners, hint of citrus taste to it, nice body and hop mix to it, probably not a true pilsner but this is to my liking and loved the body on it.
