3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 JK (3506) - Uptown, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAY 11, 2012
Gold color, with a head that laces the glass. Aroma has central European hops and lager yeast. Appropriate pilsner flavor, and for an ordinary pils, it is actually pretty good, with a solid hop flavor and malt body.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Bendrixian (455) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - MAY 6, 2012
pale yellow colour, very carbonated brew with big bubbled head. aromas of classic pilsner : hay and grassy notes & reduced aroma from filtration, slightly malted note. tastes are light, fast and gone before they even begin. very close to being a tasty watered beveragebut very far from being a tasty brew.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Guerde (991) - St. Paul, Minnesota, USA - APR 12, 2012
(bottle) Pours a semi-hazy gold color with a thin white head and some moderate lacing. Aroma is certainly questionable, with a touch of skunk, lemon peel, vanilla, and musty lager yeast. Flavor possesses some crackery pils malt, mineral water, and lemon peel with a dry and crisp finish. Mouthfeel is medium and carbonation is lively. Overall this is even slightly below disappointing.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Atheist_Peace (515) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - APR 11, 2012
12oz. bottle. Pours a bright, clear light golden colour with white head that leaves a little ring of lace. Fresh grass dominates the nose with a bit of cereal grain and sugar underneath. Quite dullish on the palate. Opens with a dried grass note and then finishes with a whimper. Disappointing.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Fech (131) - Edison, New Jersey, USA - APR 9, 2012
One of the most drinkable american craft pilsners ive ever had. Crisp, fizzy, light bodied. Great session brew.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 reebtogi (2169) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - APR 3, 2012
355ml bottle pours a pale straw color with a 2 finger white head that settles to some spotty lacing. Aroma is cereal grains with some grassy hops. Taste is light malt sweetness with a clean hoppy bitterness in the finish. Light bodied with some moderate carbonation. This is an easy drinking pilsener that is not too harsh on the palate.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Theis (9217) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 30, 2012
Bottle in Hotel Room, Brooklyn. Clear yellow/golden - white head. Grainy, hay, straw, light sweetness, light flowery honey, ok mild hoppy, light bitter hops, ok malty, light light bready. OK for a "micro" pilsner.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 jhamp9 (366) - Corinth, Texas, USA - MAR 29, 2012
Pours clear gold with a lasting white head and decent lacing. Aroma is malt and a hint of lemon. Has a nice crisp bitterness. Dry on the palate.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 DavoleBomb (1143) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 25, 2012
Poured into a pilsner glass.
4.0 A: Golden yellow color. Two fingers of foamy white head. Retention is good and a sizeable ring of lacing is left.
3.0 S: Dry, grainy dustiness. A lot of neutral malt aroma. Not much in terms of hops though. Fairly simple, even by pils standards. Clean.
3.0 T: Same as the nose. Grainy with neutral maltiness. Soft grassy hoppiness. Clean.
3.5 M: Light body. Good moderate carbonation. Clean and crisp.
3.0 D: Good, but nothing impressed me.

Nice malt aroma with a white head, but doesn’t hold the peak all that long. Hops are a bit sharp and slightly too bitter for a pilsner, but a drinkable beer none-the-less.
