3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy golden with dense white head. Alcohol is up front on the nose and taste. Once past that a yeasty, grassy, dry belgian farmhouse ale profile. I think less alcohol would bring this brew closer to style. Carbonation not so prickly on the tongue as the dense head would suggest. On tap at Dive 96.

Tap at Blind Tiger. Poured a dark clear amber with a thin foamy white head. Nose is wheaty and yeasty. Earthy flavors yeasty with some dried fruit and Belgian yeast. Bitter and quite dry. Nice example of the style

Tap @ Blind Tiger. Pours a reddish-orange with a quickly-dissipating white head. Aroma is vegetal with malt and soapy notes detectable as well. Taste is largely the same, starting with malt and floral hops dissolving into a vegetal/soapy finish. Reminded me faintly of a biere de garde, and overall above average.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft @ redlight redlight. A tan foamy head tops a deep amber body, a little lacing is left on the glass. Spicy yeast, caramel, some orange peel, candi sugar on the nose. Caramel, spiciness, and candi sugar in the flavor. The nose is much bigger than the flavor, which is very subdued. A little drying and alcohol in the finish. Med carb.

Burnt amber in appearance and roasty nutmeg on the aroma. Great spicy flavor and smooth finish. Well balanced beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draught @ Brooklyn Brewery. Pours clear dark amber, with a fluffy white head. Nose is heavily spiced, yeasty, big sweet bready malt. Flavor is spicy up front, with a body that’s big and sweet, bready, with some dark fruit in there as well. Finish is yeasty, slightly off-dry. Mouthfeel is creamy, very light, but still a bit scrubbing. This was w a big hit for me, really well done.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Had this on draught at the Brewery. Dark amber with a 1.5 finger head. I got a significant amount of spice on the nose and maybe some dark red fruits - cassis or something of the like. I didn’t experience the floral mentioned by the previous reviewers but, then again, I only had one of these.
Alcohol is pretty prominent on the finish.

I had this beer on tap at Asheleys bar in Ann Arbor, MI tonight with my friend BeerBaron617. It was an either or between this and a Jolly Pumpkin, and considering the Jolly they had on tap was a stout, I went with this one. I we checked the rating before ordering, and only a 78, well... I must say, it is not a great rating!!! I really enjoyed this beer. I wont comment on the looks of it because it was dimly lit in the bar and you never know how someone else pours a beverage....however, the taste was amazing. Very fruity, very tasty! I really would like to have this again!

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at The Roadhouse in Brookline. Translucent orangish body with a creamy tall off white head. Aromas of hard candies like Life Savers mixed with a funky yeasty grass scent. Reminded me of a sweet saison. The pallate is uber smooth, which was highly unexpected. From the earthy aromas I braced myself for some pucker or sour aspect but the body was velvety and almost verging on flat. The flavor had notes of watery cherries, fresh peaches, apple peels and some sweet chewy caramel. The malts were exceptionally light and hard to distingush, and the earthy aroma never really poked its head out. All said, it was a nicely balanced beer that was just one step from being bad but kept it together.

Typical wheat with a touch of alcohol on the aroma, but with an additional aroma of candied fruit and lemon. Very translucent amber-copper color. Mouth feel is a little harsh and bubbly on the tongue, and a tad thin/watery. Overall, a very delicious beer, with quite a kick. Great to drink.
