COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

Clear golden pour. Herbal, piney, lemon, pear, pepper in aroma. Dry cracker, lots of lemon, earthy and herbal. Dry finish. Nice saison.

Bottle. Nose is funky, herbal, floral, hint of peach and apricot and lemon, strong wine yeast notes. Taste is bitter grapefruit, lots of yeast, pepper, lemon, straw, and spice. Mouthfeel is good. A very nice bitter saison, not sure it is quite as good as I was hoping.

Bottle @ Ølfestival 2015. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma medium malty (bread), yeasty (spicy) and hoppy (Sorachi Ace). Flavor light sweet, medium spicy, light bitter, ending dry, really refreshing. Medium body.

12 oz. bottle, consumed on 5-31-15. Yeasty, mineral aroma features scents of lemon, rhubarb, saltwater, apple juice, tart white wine, white vinegar, and orange. Quite pleasant aroma evokes spring. Pours a pale, hazy, straw color. Highly effervescent. Moderate amount of eggshell-colored head. Good lacing. Looks good. Tart, dry, mineral taste. Above average flavor for an American saison. Flavors of rhubarb and lemon bar. Lemon tartness in the flavor as well as dry orange juice. Dry, grapefruit finish. Medium body. Smooth, lively enough, and frothy in the palate. Overall, this is a solid, likable beer with a nice contemporary twist.

Very good. Spicy, almost peppery flavor, a slight fruitiness, a bit of funk but not much.

Delicious saison. Hazy yellow color with perfect , white head. Aroma of yeast , herbs , spices and symphony of fruits . The same rich and balanced mix in dry taste with mild hoppy bitterness. Drinks like it has no more than 4% ABV.

75 cl bottle @ Timo A. BBE 07/2017.
Pours clear golden color with a small head. Distinct Sorachi Ace dill-like notes on the aroma, herbs, some yeast, hops and some grain. Foamy palate, maybe a bit too carbonated, smootish still. Better than I expected.

Scent of flowers, fruit and tropical fruit. The taste is spicy, fruity and bitter. Mediocre bitterness which fills the upper and front part of the mouth for a long time. Gets worse towards the end. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Bottle. Light cloudy orange pour. Heavily carbonated but this dissipates quickly. Spicy, yeasty aroma. Pretty unique taste with lemon spice, very dry, hop bitterness that is different from the usual. Interesting beer; spicy food seemed to overpower it. Definitely worth a try if you’re into variety.
