COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s. It pours clear golden with a decent white head. The nose is big sorachi....bubblegum, fennel, aniseed, coconut and plenty of heady herbal notes. The taste is crisp, bitter, lemon sherbet, herbal, grassy, aniseed and citrus peel with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Too much sorachi for me...

Keg at mother kellys. Aroma is sweet wheat parfummed, not huge sorachi character. Nice clear golden colour with a lasting white head. Flavour is clean and crisp with wheat and parfummed, light saison yeast character, light citrus. Very drinkable. Some jam. Palate I’d really nice crisp and highish carbonation. Lingering lemon.

The sense of pumkin is the first that come into my mind. Shape and appearance from a lager beer but the quality is a lot better.

On tap at Darby's. Pours a hazy straw yellow with a frothy white cap. Aroma is stuffy straw, lemon, wet blanket, light fruit. Taste is bitterness, with a sweet tartness. Crispy and dry finish. Not too much carbonation.

Sample from 75 cl bottle @ Beer Temple. Pale yellow blonde color, hazy. Dense white head with good retention. Aroma’s of fruit, citrus, slightly sour, along with some caramel sweetness retronasal. Flavor is light to moderate sweet, caramel, hints of sour, crisp, refreshing. Light to medium bodied. Finishes caramellish, dry, rather bitter. Really nice.

Beautiful and crisp golden color, with a lot of carbonation that leads to a nice 3 finger high head. Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Not much on the aroma side or I just don’t have the sensors for it. The carbonation comes alive in your mouth and the entire liquid quickly turns into light foam. Simple crisp and leaves no trace behind. Overall I prefer beers with a good palette, so I didn’t enjoy this one as much.
