Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

Has a good head and golden, cloudy color. Aroma of lemon, grass. Very fizzy when poured, the longer it sits the better it gets. Tastes peppery, grassy, soapy with lemon. Nice dry finish, very crisp and light. Nice saison.

Bottle 355ml, a cloudy golden beer with low head. Nose is on lemon and juniper. Aroma is very astringent, juniper, grapefruit, lemon, quince, bergamote, old orange, medium bitter, not my cup of tea at all, a girl like beer.

Bottle. Clear golden in colour with white head. In aroma lemon, tropical fruits, flowers and some spiciness. In taste similar flavours, the beer is dry, tart. Fizzy carbonated with medium body, smooth and elegant. Great beer.

Draft at Old Town Pour House in Gaithersburg, MD served in a half-pint glass. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma notes of bready malt, non-descript herb/spice notes (pepper, coriander maybe), grain and some light barnyard funk. Taste adds more peppery notes and light fruity hop bitterness (leans lemony). Medium-light body, moderate carbonation, dry with light citrus finish. Found this to be a quite nice saison, interesting yet refreshing.

Served in a curved wineglass, this one had minimal head but a very nice foggy orange body. Aroma of coriander especially. Flavour is tart malts and still plenty of coriander. I liked it so much I had a second one.

Bottle. Nose is funky, herbal, floral, hint of peach and apricot and lemon, strong wine yeast notes. Taste is bitter grapefruit, lots of yeast, pepper, lemon, straw, and spice. Mouthfeel is good. A very nice bitter saison, not sure it is quite as good as I was hoping.
