COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

I can see why Anastasia, of the Beerists says this goes well with any food. Good nose. Hoppy bitterness is well balanced and doesn't build or linger. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Cloudy medium amber with a long-lasting white head, cobwebs of lace. Taste is lemon citrus and malt right from the beginning that grows through the palate to a finish that is lightly spiced and shot with enough citrus hops to keep things well-in-hand. A solid, palate cleansing, balanced and great tasting brew.

64oz growler into tulip at 45°. Muted cerealy aroma. Hazy light-golden appearance, with a small white head after a fairly aggressive pour. Hoppier taste than I was expecting. Aftertaste of banana and clove. Would have guessed it at ~5%, alcohol is well-disguised. Overall a pleasantly hoppy saison/farmhouse.

New 12 oz. (reportedly not bottle conditioned). Pours a slightly hazy straw golden with a decent sized eggshell head that hangs out and leaves some spotty, dripping lace. Nose involves fresh flowers, lemon zest, underlying passion fruit, a dash of peach, some borderline sulphuric sourdough (I like sulphur), maybe a hint of vanilla. Fairly sweet, decently bitter, a touch tart. Medium to light bodied, somewhat creamy, fairly oily, active, with a lingering grassy drying bitter finish. Quenching, refreshing, well-constructed, $10 4-pack, can’t bitch.

Sample @ Malmö Öl & Whisky Festival 14/3-15. Hoppy, citrusy and fresh. The Sorachi Ace character is there.

Draft at Turner’s. Pours light copper with a white head. Aroma is white bread, lemon citrus, herbal. Flavor is white bread, lemon citrus, a bit of pepper. Crisp, dry finish. Really nice.

ThatÄs a good one. Hazy, fine bubbles, refreshing, with a well balanced tart citrus aroma, very dry. It’s just a lot too expensive here in Germany.

Bottle. Unfiltered bright gold, 1 finger tight white head. Lemon zest, yeasty with crisp spice, super dry, grassy cracker notes. Perfect carb for a saison without being too bubbly. Really great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I really liked this beer a lot. Pours a golden color that is a little on the light side with a big frothy white head that leaves generous amounts of lacing. Smells of lemon zest, spices and herbs. Tastes more of the same but with a more pronounced tangy sensation. Finishes dry and crisp. Light and oily on the tongue. Very smooth.
