Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

Lemon zest peppery saison. Nice hops for a saison but still has nice base saison qualities. I like it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is going to sound funny, but why did I think this was a cider? From the label? Bot. Slight alky phenolic aroma. Pretty cloudy lighter colored beer like a hazy light hefe. Cleaner fresh impact on this one. Aromatic volatile alky on the nose. Interesting unique flavor. Also, why would I think this was hot? Its not. Must be the label again. Never before have I been mislead like this by a label. Biting co2 keeps this going. Yes, and in the end, even tho it becomes a little medicinal, it does carry a shred of sunshine within it.

12 oz bottle This is the first of my twelve beers of Christmas. The ale poured a hazy orange with small head that quickly dissipated . There was no lacing. The aroma of lemon and general citrus greets you. The taste is very pleasing. The Champagne yeast contributed to a sweeter taste and a clean finish. The ale had a light body with soft carbonation. The finish did have some mild herbal notes.

Geruch grasig und hefig mit leichter Zitrusnote. Startet süß und zitrusartig. Mitte Mandarine, Hefe, Herbe. Abgang hefig, herb und trocken bitter. Das ideale Bier zum Arbeitsbeginn.

Bottle from Rehills Newcastle. An unusual flavour - sour lemon/other fruits, grass, sherbert. A really enjoyable beer though. Feels worth the hype ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750ml bottle bought from Alko, in Oulu, Finland. Pours with lots of thick white head, hazy colden colours. Lively carbonated. Yeasty with citrus hops, little spicy and grassy. Light bitterness, surprisingly easy to drink.

Bottle. Nearly opaque golden color, frothy white head. Rustic aroma with notes of lemon, yeast, grass and hops. Bright flavor with an elegant balance of buttery hops and citric fruity notes. Medium-full body, medium-high carbonation. Well-crafted -- and it really does well with cheese!

Bottle at home. Tasty- extra points for being interesting. Great pairing with a variety of foods. The sorachi hops add spicy, lemon, lemongrass notes. Subtle saison notes- but super dry and crisp. Really bright. Lots of bubbles. Almost celebratory.

Draught @ BBB. Pours tiny hazy pale golden with a frothy and creamy white head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is fruity and spicy with crackers, grapefruit juice, banana, hay, dry soil, white pepper corns, dill, orange zest and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sweet, slightly bitter, fruity and spicy. Mouthfeel is crisp, sparkling, slightly dry, tiny astringent, tiny boozy and medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and slightly bitter with crackers, grapefruit, banana, pears, hay, dry soil, white pepper corns, dill, orange zest, lemon zest and hints of alcohol. Crisp and just dry enought o be refreshing. Quite like this, very solid super saison.
