COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

Pours bright gold with a white head that leaves some lace. Aroma is very nice and fruity, I canít really pinpoint the aromas but damn it smells nice, just very refreshing, light lemon and even some banana, nice yeasty notes as well. Taste is also very nice and refreshing, also light lemon, grassy hop flavors with light bitterness, some banana notes and a sweet semi dry finish. Awesome summer time brew.

Bottle. Hazy gold with a large white head. Wheat with caramel and funky lemon cheesecake. Woody with lightly nutty cereal and green pine. Banana yeastiness. Floral with grapefruit bitterness to finish. Very good.

Pours a straw yellow with a thick white head. Aroma of bananas, yeast and cloves like a wheat beer. A strange taste, itís smooth, bit of lemon and some herbs but nothing over powering and not very bitter. Pleasant and could drink a few of them but nothing spectacular.

Pale yellow and hazy. Some yeasy and citrus in the aroma, especially lime. Quite thin in texture. Tastes a bit soapy. Very dry finish.

Drank with Thierry in Malden 15-7. Very clear beer with a sharp taste. Lots of carbonation. Taste like lemon or something, peculiar. Not bad but did not particularly enjoy it.

Bottle BBE: Mar 2016. Chilled. Pours a bright, hazy golden, with a small, off-white head. High-medium intensity lemon, lemon sherbet, elderflower, Belgian yeast and grass aromas. Immediate high acidity, followed by a light bitterness and softening of flavour. Light-bodied with high carbonation and a fizzy texture, the citrus finish lingers long. The Sorachi Ace hop lends this beer some awesome aromas, but the rest of the beer is a major disappointment. Fizzy and insipid.
