COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

Tap from Lazy Dog. Pours a transparent golden with very little off white head. Aroma of yeast and hints of citrus. Taste of lemons and yeast with ample carbonation.

Pale, straw-colored yellow. Poured with a nice, lacy white head. It’s extremely dry, and not hoppy on the palate. A very nice Saison.

Bright flowers and spicy yeast come off the nose. Clear, bright yellow with effervescent carbonation. The carbonation is pleasant on the palate bringing forth honey and lots of medicinal herbs. This thing is pretty medicinal and numbs the tongue a little. As it warms up it brings forth a lot of herbal and bright flowers, like chrysanthemum, elderflower and dandelion. And maybe it’s just my mind playing tricks on me since this is a Japanese hop, but I swear I just got a hint of green tea. Overall really solid, but if I’m drinking a saison, I’m probably going for something a little less herbal.

Golden color, slight hazy, fluffy two finger head. Yeasty lemon nose, a little bit of citrus hops, hay. Well carbonated, taste of yeasty lemon, grapefruit, then some kind of sweetness for a split second. The finish has a bitter, dry and clean finish with the yeast sitting around for a while, great.

Pours fizzy muted lemon with a low white head. Aroma is faint but zesty. Mouthfeel is sharp. Flavor has citrus, lemon pepper and is very crisp and clean. Somewhat reminiscent of an Orval. Super nice presentation."

Pours cloudy light amber to golden, the white head sticks around and leaves beautiful lacing behind. The nose is very rich and bright; it has notes of lemon zest, mango, candy, pepper, and herbs. On the palate, it opens with bright bubblegum flavors, followed by greenish notes and juicy grapefruit bitterness which sticks around with the dry and tannic finish, while the alcohol is more muted than one could expect from 7.6% ABV. The carbonation is lively and goes well with the overall dryness. An excellent creation.

Gift 750 ml. bottle shared with craft friends, and poured to snifters with a hazed, orangey gold color, white, froth & bubbles head foam, and spots & streaks of lacing. The aroma evoked a reminiscent barbershop scent that included dryness, spice, herbs, citrusy zest, & lemongrass, and maybe a little grapefruit. Light to medium bodied, with very effervescent, spritzy carbonation, light tartness, fruit & citrus, and a very palateably crisp & dry finish. I really enjoyed this one!
