COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

Rated based on notes from 25 May 2012 -- The hops on this are very distinct and imo overpower this beer. Otherwise a bubbly saison that’s pretty good.

Pour is a bright cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aromas are tons of fruit and yeast that continue into the flavor. The hops put out some citrus and herbs that come through stronger on the tongue than they do on the nose. Thick and chewy, but maybe a little harsher carbonation than I like.

Very active carbonation, crisp body with light yet characterful fermentation. Spiced, lemony hops, very mineral. Refreshing even after drinking the whole body. Quite bitter and great looking. Yum! (75cl bottle at La Reserve Tours)

A good saison with a strange hop profile. I don’t know what to say or how to describe the flavors imparted by the sorachi ace hops. It is not great, it is not bad either--more of a novelty to me. I don’t think I can drink that much of this beer, but regardless, it is solid.

I DONNT UNDERSTAND WHY U PUT HOT SAUSE IN BEERS. I SAW ROUGUE HAD A SIROCHRA BEER NOW BRROKLYN HAS ONE TOO. TEH GOOD NEWS IS THAT IN THIS BEERS I CANNT REALY SMELL THE SIROCHRA. ITS JUST A LITTEL SPICEY; NOT TOO BAD. THIS WOULD PROBLY TASTE GOOD WITH MY FAMUSS BIG MACS MY BARBEECUE? TtHE PROBLEM IS I DIDNT DRINK THIS WHILE I EAT MEAL, SO ITS KIND OF WEIRD. TASTE LIKE SPICES AND FRUITS. BUT IF TWAS MORE LIKE PLINY (THE GRATEST CRAFT BEERS EVER) I COULD DRINK ALL THIS TIME,

(Brooklyn Sorachi Ace) Bottle 750 ml corked and caged, from a supermarket in Germany.Served into a teku glass, ABV 7.6% Golden orange colour on the body, slightly hazy, with a tall and thick snow-white head on top. Very good retention, light lacing left on the glass. Aroma has light malts, sugar, nice floral notes, hops, a bit of yeast. Taste is nicely hoppy, light citrus, some yeast, sugar, apricot, light alcohol. Medium body, carbonation on good levels, mildly dry on the palate. Very good and as times passes becomes more and more drinkable.

As I untwisted the cage the bottle exploded open, the cork almost smashing my ceiling light fixture. So this is a lively one, pale gold with big white foam. Aromas of apple, banana, farmhouse yeast, hay, bread. There is spice here which I like. Light sweetness, medium bitter. Dry and crisp, light body, very lively.

Bottled. Pours slightly hazy, pale golden. Aroma of citrus, lemon grass, a little dill, spicy notes and yeast. Sweet flavor that ends up dry and nice bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft to average carbonation. An excellent hoppy Saison. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Hazy light gold, medium white head. Some yeasty notes, dill and citrus on the nose. Medium bodied, bit dry, overall rather nice. Finishes on farmhouse and dry notes.
