Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

Pours a dirty brownish yellow with little to no head. Has s light grassy aroma. Taste is mostly lemon grass with some spicy pepper. Not too overpowering but lingering flavors. OK but not really for me.

Flaska @ Backstage, Varberg.

Bottle from wine warehouse. I suppose for years I thought I tried this one and that's why haven't picked it up, but apparently not so here we go. Pours hazy golden with the small white head. Aroma of lemon, bubblegum, indiscernible fruit. Taste is a mild soap, fruit, grasses. This is tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from LCBO. BB Nov 2018. Pours barely translucent with big white head that fizzes off quickly. The aroma is strangely pickled cucumbery and citric, the Sorachi Ace is definitely playing leading role here. Can’t say I’m enjoying it too much but I do somewhat like it in a kinky way. Tastes juicy, weird limey? bitter and salty notes. Pretty malty too. Super crisp on the palate. Lightish medium body. Finishes not exactly ’crackingly’ or bone dry, but dry enough. Was expecting it to be better to be honest. It’s not a background beer as I like my Saisons, it definitely begs for attention.

Hazy golden yellow pour with small white head. Aroma of yeast, spices, grains wheat and lemon. Taste of yeast, grains, peppercorn, lemon zest and hops. Medium bodied, higher champagne like carbonation, crisp peppery mouthfeel, dry finish, nicely balanced.

Pours a hazy orangish/gold color. Aromas of tart fruit, bread, citrus, and yeasty. Flavor is malty/citrus. Leaves a yeasty orange aftertaste. Like a mellow smooth IPA. Good Beer!

God øl med fyldig aroma, kraftig smak med et ørlite hint av sitrus. Flott farge også

Bottle to celebrate H's third child. Light honey colour with minimal white head. Unusual aromas of eucalyptus, lemon rind and pith, along with some spicy hop. Similarly unusual flavours of eucalyptus, honey, lemon rind and pith, spicy hop finish. Very dry start, slightly under carbonated, simplistic structure. Quite a highly rated beer, but it doesn't have much depth in its structure to excite me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355 ml, bottle conditioned. Yellow, hazy, very thin head, low carbonation, loads of powdery sediments floating around. Aroma is grassy, floral and spicy. Mouthfeel is bitter and carbonated, long bitter aftertaste. Flavours are spice, lime zest, grass and loads of SA hops. Interesting beer more than sessionable.
