3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy to cloudy yellow color, minimal white head. Yeast and sourish aroma, some coconut, wheat and grain. Coconut taste, sweet and sour. Thin body, watery, soft carbonation. Extremely tasty, too bad for its wateriness. This is only second beer with Sorachi Ace I’ve tried, and both had coconut aroma/taste. I must say I’m a big fan of Sorachi already. //stellabeer2go

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
33 cl bottle @ hotel room, Bruges. Aroma has grass, dill, some fruity tones and peaches. Flavour has grass, dill, menthol, some plastic vibes and . Finishes with menthol. A bit too foamy palate. Nope, Sorachi Ace is still Sorachi Ace even when it is done by Brooklyn. No signs of saison here.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours hazy golden with a one finger white head with nice lacing. Aroma is of lemon balm, tropical fruits, light biscuit malts, some mustiness, some black pepper, ripe fruits, light barnyard funk, and some wet hay. Taste is pretty similar to the aroma with some mild hop bitterness in the finish. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a dry, semi bitter, medium-long, refreshing finish. Overall, a tasty, refreshing, slightly more hoppier then normal for the style, saison that would be very nice on a hot summer day.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
BBD 8/15. Pours a semi-cloudy gold. World class head volume, lacing and retention.
Nice nose of light lemon or lemongrass with a subtle yeast character.
Light medium body with a texture that has creamy aspects. Superbly well carbonated with nice effervescence from the middle on.
The outstanding profile is intense, somewhat complex and is hop and saison flavor forward rather than balanced. It begins with a lemon like flavor that flows into the spicy Sorachi hop. A very subtle mild bitterness emerges in the middle over a weak biscuit character. From the middle on, the slightly funky farmhouse character dominates. The dry finish lingers with a receding lemon flavor over farmhouse funk.

Bottle pours hazy pale gold with fizzy white head. Citrus, tropical fruit, grass, pepper, coriander, toast. Moderately bitter, lightly sweet. Light carbonation, medium bodied. A bit astringent. Trailing fruitiness. Has a lot going on.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
330ml bottle from Fathers Day selection. Served cold at home. Slightly hazy yellow, with a proud white mousse for a head. Earthy yeast aroma with a hint of beech smoke. Lemon cheesecake, spicy sweetness, grapefruit flavour, astringent finish. I really appreciated the champagne yeast which I’ve previously felt to be an affectation in other beers. It makes sense in this sparkling little delight.
