COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

Lemony hop aroma and cloudy light golden body. Taste is a mismatch between the fruity belgian notes and the sharp lemon hop flavor. I can almost pick up a note of the bubblegum character of the Sorachi hops. Crisp and dry, not a smooth ending. Not really a fan, but I am finding most of the Brooklyn Brewery stuff I don’t care for.

Bright cloudy orange with a huge wafting white head. Aroma is of adding fresh hops to a batch of wort (slightly raw and unfinished). Taste is of malt, HUGE lemon, light hint of flowers and grass.

Clear, big billowing white head, golden orange in color. The smell is spicy and fruit hop character, citrus, yeast, homebrew day, and good. Good lacing. The taste is lemon, citrus, yeast, raw hops, a little unrefined.

It pours a hazy lemon-yellow with orange highlights; the head is off-cream and foamy. The aroma had notes of: rice koji, lemon-zest, slight barnyard, and apricots. The taste was medium sweet that finishes dry; there were notes of: sake, rice koji, lemon-zest, stewed apricots, yeasty characteristic, and alcohol. The palate was medium bodied, lively small-bubbled carbonation, and big-mouth feel. Overall, very unique, and definitely a merit able spin on the Saison style.

Pours a hazy orange-yellow. Nose is sweet and similar to DuPont. Taste is dry, crisp, over spiced. It’s a good effort and a solid beer but the spice really kills off a lot of the subtle grass and hay flavors I prefer in a saison. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a hazy golden yellow with an effervescent white head that leaves minimal lace. Aroma of lemon peel, hay, and floral mixed with rosemary. Light citrus and barnyard of the non-funky variety, dry from the champagne yeast with a beautiful subtle-ness to the hop profile.

corked caged bottle enjoyed into a tulip glass. very hazy yellow with pillowly white head. the aroma is strong lemon zest and juice and grass. Like sitting next to a pound in a grassy field with lemon trees in early summer. taste has a lemon curd and yeasty spice. Texture is perfect bottle conditioned small bubbles. i want to try more with this hop.

Sampled at STL RB Gathering - Pours hazy yellow with a moderate sized white head. The aroma has lemons, saison earthiness, powdery softness and husky graininess. Medium / light crisp body with sharp carbonation. The flavor begins with earthiness, light (if any) toast, powder, sharp citrus, melons and spiciness. The finish is more spicy and powdery with lots of Sorachi Ace. Good saison.

Pours a cloudy, light amber color with a white head. Interesting aroma with citrus hops, lemon, yeast, and some wheat. Light mouthfeel with the lemon and citrus hops up front. Light finish with some bitterness and some lemon and yeast. Very interesting brew.
